Dalilah's had initially maintained an excellent relationship with Josh. She sincerely loved his meditation and hypnosis videos and was consistently supportive of him. She was also one of the first to purchase his latest hypnosis recordings and was praising them online whenever she had a chance. Josh's reaction was friendly and grateful. In October 2022, she got news that her father had fallen and hurt his head. he was recovering with difficulty. So she traveled to France to visit her family. She was hoping to be back home after three weeks. The three weeks became six, then ten, then fourteen, and gradually, Dalilah realized that she was going to miss the Christmas season for her macaron business. She had hoped to attend a few Christmas markets as a vendor, and to sell large macaron orders to her wholesale clients during the festive season, but it looked like it was not meant to be. To keep in touch with her customers, she decided to give them end of the year gifts to thank them for their business. As she was out of the country and not able to give them macarons, she thought she would gift them something completely different this year: Self-love hypnosis recordings that she would purchase from Josh Jamieson! Her clients were mostly female and would appreciate them. She was sure of that. She messaged him to ask him about the price. To her surprise, he generously decided to offer her 10 recordings, to thank her for her ongoing support. Dalilah was grateful and in turn decided to send him an end of the year gift too. She could hardly give him back one of his own recordings, so she decided to use Amazon to purchase a winter scarf and send it to the address she still had from his macaron order. She added a note wishing him and his family a merry and bright Christmas. Upon reception, he thanked her profusely for her kindness.

It was after this event that Dalilah sensed a shift in Josh's energy. In hindsight, she realized that she was at the receiving end of a ton of spellwork to keep her communicating with him and choosing his recordings as a gift. As time passed, his replies were getting shorter and shorter and his charm was drying up. Then suddenly, totally out of the blue, he ghosted her. When he failed to thank her for her birthday wishes, she knew that something was definitely wrong and had to completely stop all communication with him. She was baffled by his attitude. She could feel energy and there was a change in his that was difficult to understand. Those conversations were her only outlet in the midst of her caregiving routine. She mourned that connection. She was hurt, but she also suspected that there were secrets behind this sudden change. Something was going on and she was not sure she wanted to know. It felt that heavy.

Around that time, she started feeling aches and pains in different parts of her body for no reason. Her sciatica that had completely disappeared made an unexpected and painful comeback. Her breasts were sore and swollen most of the time. She started waking up with a feeling of painful tightness around her mouth. That became a daily occurrence and caused serious dental problems. Soon, Dalilah had her first cracked molar, then the second, third etc... until six were broken. The dentist could not do anything to save them. They needed to be pulled and replaced by implants. Truth to be told, they were already fragile and needed dental care. But for the six of them to break one or two weeks apart, the dentist was very surprised as he had never had that happen to any of his patients before. Dalilah was getting seriously worried. Objects fell off her hands unexpectedly and small accidents seemed to happen to her out of the blue. She had occasional nausea and moments of dizziness and even her baking passion seemed to fade in the background as she struggled to get anything accomplished. All the energy that was left in her was directed to caring for her husband. She could not afford to get sick or fall apart. She had to remain strong for the family. Adam had noticed her health issues and was regularly asking about possible reasons for them. He had certainly sensed something she had not yet fully grasped.

Dalilah was a little clairvoyant, but that did not mean that she knew everything about everyone or that she could explain every incident that happened to her. It meant that she had miraculous moments of clarity about situations and people that could be confusing or fooling everyone. She sometimes had flashes of things that happened to people in the past. Other times she could describe a person as if she had known them forever just by looking at their photo or sensing their energy after someone talked about them. She knew that those moments only happened in divine timing. She had to be ready to receive them. She paid close attention to messages that come from across the ether and prayers always helped open her third eye. But she knew very well that, sometimes, it was better to be in the dark for a little while and wait for the truth to unfold in due time. For now, she was not yet suspecting foul play and in a way, it was giving her peace of mind.

As usual, she also turned to meditation in order to get herself back in a state of balance. She looked for different YouTubers, discovered Yoga Nidra and set up to have at least one meditation session per day. She needed mental and physical balance and this was good for her soul. Positivity was the name of the game, she kept telling herself. She made a point of posting uplifting posts on social media to keep herself in good spirits. She believed in positive thinking and was not going to let herself be weighed down by what transpired with Josh. She needed grounding and set out to find it. Soon enough, she started feeling more cheerful and energetic and thought she was closing one unfortunate episode of her life to focus on herself, Adam and Jasmine.

But that was without taking into consideration the degree of hatred that her attacker had for her. Dalilah was up for a very rude wake up call. She went to use the ensuite bathroom one night only to find herself pushed to the ground by an invisible force. Although she had managed to keep her balance, she had a fractured arm and was quite shaken by what had happened. It was after that frightful accident that she started feeling a malevolent presence. Every time she went in, she would sense a vibration in the air that felt threatening to her safety. She started fearing her trips to the washroom. Her balance seemed to become more and more precarious and something seemed to be after her when she went to shower or even just wash her hands. She was not able to discuss her fears with anyone as it felt irrational. She also could not confide in Adam or Jasmine because they would get very worried and might not believe her. For the first time in a very long time, Dalilah started feeling that her mental health was deteriorating. She tried hard to remain emotionally stable but the truth was that her own bathroom had become a place she feared. Her showers became less and less frequent as she struggled to keep pushing through in order to care for Adam, while at this moment, she was the one in need of care.

She couldn't help but think that what she was experiencing was connected to Josh. Could it be him who was attacking her??? Dalilah ruminated about that for a long while and finally pushed that thought away. He had no reason to attack her in that way. Regardless of his behavior a few weeks ago, she still saw him as a kind person. She could not imagine that she could be capable of dabbling in black magic. The idea crossed her mind that the attacker could be his now wife, Rachel. That would definitely explain why he suddenly stopped talking to her, when she had given him nothing but support. But why would Rachel use witchcraft against her? Dalilah lived a thousand miles away from them and had never spoken to Josh live. If Rachel wanted her gone from his life, wasn't she in a strong enough position as a wife to pick up the phone and have a direct conversation with her? The more she thought about it, the more she found that the recourse to witchcraft was completely irrational and unjustified. Dalilah was married and lived in the other side of the country. Could Rachel be mentally unstable? Or was there something else, something much more sinister going on?

In the meantime, Dalilah's ensuite bathroom, which had a shower, had become an unsafe place for her. The spare one had a bathtub, and since she constantly felt a force pushing her off balance, she was sure that she would fall down if she tried to get in or out of it. She started using the sink daily in order to wash herself. Leaning against the vanity in order to keep her balance. she used the shower occasionally, always mindful of her balance. The malevolent presence was always there. Still she had to continue managing the household, caring for her family and acting as if everything was normal. In hindsight, Dalilah wondered if her caregiving for Adam wasn't her saving grace. She needed to be strong and she played the part against all odds.
