"N-no! Put that down!" Y/n yelled slightly, rushing over to a shelf in her younger Nieces bedroom. Y/n grabbed the bottle and let out a sigh, putting the bottle on a higher shelf. She picked up the 4-year old girl and carried her out of the room, flipping her room switch off.
"If you can't behave when I take my eyes off of you, you'll be staying in the room where I have to finish editing the news article!" Y/n said walking back into the living room of her older sister's house.
Y/n was a 25 year old news article editor. She had an older sister o/s/n (older sister name) , who was in her early thirties. She and her husband decided to travel for their anniversary and asked Y/n if she could babysit. At first, Y/n wasn't going to do the offer because of how big this news article is. Then she heard the money offered to her, that got her to change her mind quickly.
Her niece, Jackie, was an 4 year old girl who was soon going to start be attending a pre-school in the area. She's an energetic little girl, who most definitely got it from her father, and loved to be active. Sometimes, she gets tired out from watching Jackie.
Jackie groaned, hitting Y/n's shoulder.
"Ouch?!" Y/n yelled as she glared at the little girl in her arms. "That hurt?!" She walked past the kitchen and into the beautifully decorated living room. The whole house had a modern themed to it. The couch was white, a dangerous choice for the couple, while the carpet had a lighter white to it. A dark oak coffee table in the middle of the carpet, which held Y/n's laptop so she can edit her work, and also held her phone.
Y/n sat on the couch with a huff and looked at the girl with a slight glare. Y/n's e/c (eye color) eyes boring into the devilish Green ones. "I don't like you at all, let's get that straight." Y/n started as Jackie stuck her tongue out at the girl.
Y/n's eyes widened as the girl hopped off the couch, running down the hallway. Y/n grabbed her shoe and was about to chase the girl down the hallway and realized her phone was going off. Y/n lowered the shoe in her hand onto the couch, using her other to reach to the coffee table. She picked up the phone, looking at the contact.
