The first view of Fontaine. A beautiful terrestrial sea in the center of Teyvat. A place where the light is always golden, and the streets are full of magic and romance.

They stand at the edge of the docks, which lead to the floating city.

"Hotel Exutoire?" (Name) called out to the many clerks holding up signs with different hotel names on them.

"Ah here!" She says pulling Mona along with her.

"So many planes... I have motion sickness" Mona groaned trying to walk as steady as possible.

"Oh my God!" (Name) laughed as she saw the quaint little boat they had to ride in.

"A boat?!" Mona exclaimed

"It's gonna be great!"

"No, it's not gonna be great! I don't feel well, (Name), I'm tired!" Mona exclaimed.

"Come on just grab my hand-!"

"I'm a very good friend. Do you realize that?" They both bickered as they got on the boat.

They step aboard as the boat takes off, and (Name) gazes out into distance, leaning across the railing.

"Oh, look Mon, look how beautiful..."

And it is. They sail toward the splendor that is Fontaine at twilight. Magic hour. They float past the Court of Fontaine, its regal facade rejuvenated in the gentle sunlight. Smaller boats glide by, and candlelit windows cast shimmering patches of gold down onto the water. It's just like the movies...

Eventually the driver calls out, "Hotel Exutoire!"

(Name) can barely contain herself as they pull up alongside one of the most elegant and expensive hotels in Fontaine. Dock lanterns glow, beckoning them into its sumptuous surroundings.

"This is pretty ni-iice" (Name) chuckles.

Mona smiles then realizes, "(Name), this is a Lifestyles hotel!" She hissed as she grabbed onto (Name)'s arm.

"What?"

"Of The Rich and Famous," Mona scoffs, "Of which we are neither! Are you out of your mind? We can't afford this!"

(Name) looked up at the building, the one that could be housing her one true soulmate.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure!" Mona said crossing her arms,
"Lady Ningguang stayed here!"

"Well we're here, and more importantly, he's here." (Name) said stepping forward, "We'll just have to cut back on everything else."

She thanks the driver, pays him, and steps off the boat.

Mona doesn't move.

"Mon, it's one night" (Name) pleads to her friend.

She still doesn't move.
