"There's no place like home, and this is as close as I'll get to one in this world." you tell yourself as you stand outside of Ramshackle dorm, taking in the feeling of being "home".
"Ah. You've returned." Tsunotarou greets you, "Who would have ever expected you to win a bet with Ashengrotto? For as doe-eyed as you look, you're quite the schemer." he smirks.
You chuckle, "What you said about gargoyles was just the hint I needed." you respond while holding your poorly bandaged arm. Floyd had offered to help you bandage your arm and you shouldn't have accepted it.
Tsunotarou raises his eyebrow, "Really? I wasn't trying to offer some cryptic clue or the like. Heh. In any case, I'm glad to know this garden will remain nice and quiet. Ashengrotto's calm features contorting in frustration must have been quite the sight."
He looks down at your arm and hold out his hand, "May I?" he asks. You eye him suspiciously but hold out your injured arm to him. He takes your hand in his and a green light spread across your arm.
It looked like your veins were glowing green, the green glow disappeared after a few seconds and your arm felt new again. You were about to ask him how he did that but he shut you up with a smile.
"Mm... It seems I had best be returning to my dorm now. I bid you good night." was the last thing he said before turning into small sparkles again, why are his disappearances so dramatic?
"Well? Is he here?" you hear someone ask, you turn to look at the two guys. One had mint chocolate chip hair and the other one had silver, your pretty sure you've seen them somewhere before.
The mint haired one shakes his head disappointed, "No, I don't believe he's present in the vicinity." The silver headed one looks around for a moment before suggesting, "Perhaps he's near the western schoolhouse."
'Imma call him Minty and the other one Silver.' you think to yourself.
"How could you go on an excursion unescorted?! This is your fault for taking your eyes off of him, Silver!" Minty exclaims. Silver looks at his friend unamused, "He's not a baby. Personally, I think you're worried to an inordinate degree."
Minty glares at him, "It won't be so inordinate if something happens to him. You must never relax, even for a second! Or do you not understand the gravity of your duty as guardsman?! You are lucky that he and Lilia took you in and raised you despite your humanity. Don't you dare forget it!"
Silver shakes his head with a sigh, "I think we're getting off track..."
The two leave quickly after and you were left in your thoughts, "Are they lookin' for a kid?" you ask yourself outloud while you make your way inside Ramshackle dorm.
You close the door and kick off your shoes, quickly making your way towards your room. You see Grim sleeping on your bed like he owns it, making you sigh with a smile.
