Avery's POV

We finally arrived at Niagara Falls after a few hours of driving. Sa iisang sasakyan lang kami sumakay at si Tyler na ang nagdrive since may license siya dito sa america.

The sound of the cascading water filled the air, and the sheer power and beauty of the falls took my breath away. For a moment, the weight of my worries lifted as I took in the stunning view.

"Wow, it's even more beautiful than I imagined," I whispered, my eyes wide with awe.

Ruth came up beside me, her arm around my shoulders. "I knew you'd love it. We all needed this, especially you."

Niagara falls is a must visit place in New York. The falls is a border between the United States and Canada.

Tyler was holding Tyrone's hand, pointing out the different parts of the falls to him. I watched them for a moment, a bittersweet smile on my face. Seeing Tyler with Tyrone reminded me of how much I wanted to be there for my son, to see him grow up and experience life's wonders.

Mark and Caleb were busy trying to outdo each other with their camera skills.

"Hold still, Mark," Caleb said, squinting through his camera lens. "You're ruining the shot."

Mark rolled his eyes, striking a dramatic pose. "I'm the best part of the shot. Admit it, you just don't know how to capture my good side."

Ruth, standing nearby, couldn't resist joining in. "Do you even have a good side, Mark?" she teased, earning a laugh from the group.

Mark put a hand to his chest in mock offense. "Ruth, I'm hurt. You of all people should know I have many good sides."

Caleb chuckled, lowering his camera. "Yeah, and we're still trying to find one."

I giggled at their banter, taking in the relaxed, joyful atmosphere. It felt so good to be surrounded by my friends, just enjoying the moment.

Mark crossed his arms, pretending to pout. "You guys are just jealous of my natural charm and photogenic features."

Ruth grinned, stepping forward with her own camera. "Let's see about that. Stand over there, Mark. Caleb, you too. Let's take a picture together and settle this once and for all."

The boys obediently moved into position, with Ruth directing them like a professional photographer. "Alright, on three. One, two, three—cheese!"

Caleb made a goofy face, while Mark tried his best to look suave. Ruth snapped the picture and immediately started laughing. "Oh, this is perfect. Caleb, you look like a cartoon character!"

Mark peered over her shoulder, laughing as well. "And look at me—pure elegance."

"More like pure embarrassment," Caleb retorted, nudging Mark playfully.

Tyler, who had been watching with Tyrone, joined in with a grin. "I think we should frame that one. It's a masterpiece of comedy."

Ruth handed me the camera so I could see the photo. I laughed, feeling a warm sense of happiness wash over me. "I think you both look great, in your own unique ways."

Caleb grinned, wrapping an arm around Mark's shoulders. "See, Avery gets it. We're a dynamic duo."

Mark smirked, patting Caleb on the back. "Dynamic, sure. More like a couple of clowns."

Ruth snapped another candid shot of them laughing together, capturing the genuine joy of the moment. "This one's going in the album for sure," she said, smiling.

Lucas was setting up a picnic area with a blanket and a basket full of snacks. "Let's take a break and enjoy the view," Lucas suggested, waving us over.
