First Encounter

(I woke up like any other day and turned on the TV)

Reporter: A couple of people have gone missing -

(I turned it off, got ready, put on my clothes, and left the house to head to the cafe. There I saw him again)

Brent: Yo, hey Mini Min

Mun: It's Mun, and you know this

Brent's Friend 1: Chillo, man, we just messing with ya

Brent's Friend 2: Yeah, fish face

(He got up in my face)

Brent's Friend 2: Like, after the incident, you haven't been able to take a joke

(The incident..)

(I had my fist clenched, I was going to beat this bitch up until a man in a fedora noticed what was going on and intervened)

Fedora Man: Ignore them..

Mun: Hm?

Fedora Man: Hey, wanna sit next to me while you drink, maybe I can calm you down?

Mun: Sure

(I sat next to the man)

Mun: How could you tell what was going on?

Fedora Man: I could tell from your fist that you were planning to punch the kid. Why?

Mun: He brought up an incident that I hate thinking about...

Fedora Man: Why do you hate it?

Mun: Police shot my best friend for no reason, and they got off scott free..

Fedora Man: ... That's horrible...

Mun: They still bring it up to this day to get a reaction of out me

Fedora Man: They deserve to get punished for it

Mun: All except one..

Fedora Man: Hm, which one?

Mun: That guy over there. He doesn't understand what is going on since he's not that familiar with the English language. They use him as a puppet sometimes, and he doesn't even realize what he is saying is bad.

Fedora Man: I see..

Mun: Say, I haven't asked your name, have I?

Weston: Ah, I'm Weston, and you?

Mun: I am Mun

Weston: I assume you are an animator?

Mun: Yeah, actually, how did you know?

Weston: It doesn't take a detective to see you bring your drawing tablet. You are really good at drawing

Mun: Thanks, what do you do?

Weston: It's nothing special, I'm just a detective

Mun: That is so cool!

Weston: Really, eh, I don't think so

Mun: You solve mysteries. That's like a child's dream

Weston: I guess that's true

Mun: So, are you solving any currently?

Weston: I guess there are strange sounds in the forest nearby, but other than that, nothing special

Mun: Nice

(We both ordered our coffees eventually)
