Jungwon stares at Heeseung, with wide eyes. He should've known someone would question why he was in the library. I mean, he's barely even in it for crying out loud!
"Um, I just... wanted to look into our kingdom.." Jungwon says, accidentally stumbling over his words. Heeseung looks at him with a head tilt, clearly questioning his answer. I mean, technically, Jungwon's not lying, but like Jungwon, Heeseung has also been advised by the servants not to look into the kingdom, just like all of the other boys, so why was Jungwon suddenly reading up about our kingdom?
On Heeseung's end, it's understandable why he's suspicious of Jungwon's answer. He looks at Jungwon for a few seconds more, leaving Jungwon in more suspense than before. After a few seconds of silence, Heeseung finally speaks. He says one word: "Why?"
That's it. It's just one word, so why is it enough to have Jungwon's heart race even faster than before in panic?
He clutches the book in his hand tightly as he stares at Heeseung with a panicked expression. He wants to tell him about Y/n. He wants to tell all of his brothers about her, but he's worried they won't believe him. I mean, why would they? A ghost haunting them? Even he wouldn't believe it if one of his brothers told him about it.
Still, after a bit of silence on Jungwon's end, he swallows his nervousness and speaks. "...i... I think there's something wrong with this kingdom..." Jungwon says to Heeseung hesitantly.
Heeseung looks at Jungwon, even more confused than before. "Jungwon, you know we're not supposed to look into the kingdom that deeply.. what makes you think there's something wrong with the kingdom?.." Heeseung says to Jungwon, voice filled with concern for his brother.
Jungwon stares at Heeseung for a few seconds before he speaks three simple words: "𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬."

The boys all sit in Jungwon's room, confused as to why they were called here for a meeting.
"Why are we here? What happened, Jungwon?" Jay asks after a few seconds of silence.
Jungwon says nothing and instead throws the open book he was reading onto his table for the others to see.
The other boys look down at the page the book is on before Sunoo looks up from the book and to Jungwon. "What are we supposed to be reading?" He asks Jungwon, clasping his hands together and placing them on his lap.
"It's the history of our kingdom... Our kingdom isn't as good as we thought.." Jungwon says to Sunoo, looking directly at him. Jake looks at Jungwon with a questioning look.
"What do you mean by that..? Our kingdom is fine.." Jake says with a questioning tone.
"That's what I thought too before i actually read into the kingdom..." Jungwon responds back to Jake's words, his hands on his hips.
Sunoo looks at Jungwon in silence as if thinking. After a bit of thinking from him, he speaks up.
"Okay, wait, Jungwon, what even possessed you to read about our Kingdom's history? You haven't even stepped into the castle's library for years, so why now?" Sunoo asks Jungwon, his voice full of thought.
Jungwon looks down at his shoes for a few seconds before he looks back up, his eyes landing on the corner of his room. His eyes widen as his breath hitches as he sees Y/n standing in the corner, looking at them with an amused expression.
The others, noticing his odd reaction, look at him in concern. "Hey, you okay..?" Ni-ki asks Jungwon, his voice laced with concern and worry for his brother.
Jungwon's eyes snap from the corner of his room to Ni-ki. His breathing picks up as his eyes frantically look from Ni-ki to the others, and soon, back towards the corner that is now empty, losing any trace of Y/n.
He looks back towards his brothers and finally decides to tell them about Y/n.
"..A ghost haunts this castle..." Jungwon says quietly as he breathes heavily. The others look at him.
"...What..?" Is all Sunghoon is able to say as he stares back at Jungwon, a confused look on his face.
"This castle is haunted.." Jungwon repeats himself, this time in a more slow manner as if to help the guys process this information.
The guys all stare at him before Jake hesitantly speaks up. "...how are you so sure, Jungwon..."
Jungwon stares directly at him before speaking in a flat tone. "Because I've met the ghost.."
Jake stares at him in disbelief, not wanting to believe his brother. "...your making this up..." Jake says, his voice almost a whisper.
"I wish I was, i do, but... I'm not.." Jungwon says, letting out a sigh.

He looks up from his shoes and to his brothers.
"...are... are you sure you're not making this up, Jungwon..?" Heeseung asks carefully so as not to trigger his younger brother. He looks at his brother, his eyes full of genuine concern for him.
Jungwon head snaps towards Heeseung's direction. "No! I'm not! I... i..." he trails off, his eyes flicking towards the book on the table. The others look at him, expectantly, waiting for him to finish his sentence.
"...you what, Jungwon?" Jay questions Jungwon before his eyes also flicker down towards the book after noticing Jungwon's gaze on it.
He looks at the page the book is turned too, skimming through it before his eyes land on something interesting. His eyes widen at what he sees.
".. Our kingdom, it... this book.. why does it say our kingdom started out horribly...?" Jay says, stumbling and stuttering over his words, his voice shaky as he looks down at the book.
At his words, the others also look down at the book, quietly reading through the page before their eyes also widen.
"Holy shit.." Ni-ki says to himself quietly as he looks down at the book.
"Yea, that's.. that's also what I wanted to talk about... Our kingdom, it's... it's a horrible one.. filled with a bad and distasteful history..." Jungwon says as he grabs the book from the table and slams it shut, creating a loud sound.
"...meeting dismissed..."
