{30 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨}

Y/n runs into an alleyway and kneels down, covering her mouth with her hands, making sure to keep her breathing to a steady and quiet pace so they don't hear her.

Her third day on the run, and she already got found out. Fuck, her luck is terrible...

She stays in the alleyway for a few minutes, listening out for any signs of footsteps near her.

Once she declares it safe enough to leave, she slowly peaks her head out and checks to see if anyone is around. Once she knows the coast is clear, she quietly sneaks out from the alleyway, making sure to keep her head down so no one sees her face and walks to a more secluded area of the kingdom where less people stay.

There, she walks through the area, avoiding as many people as she can. Though, eventually, her already pour luck starts to run out and soon...

"THERE SHE IS!!" A person suddenly yells while pointing right at her. Y/n perks up as she hears that and takes that her sign to run, and so she does.

She picks up her speed and starts to run away as fast as her legs can take her. The people who saw her start to immediately run after her, all while yelling hurtful things at her.

"MURDERER!!"

"ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!"

"SHE DESERVES DEATH FOR WHAT SHE DID!!"

They continue to yell hurtful things at her as she continues to run as far as her legs can take her, ignoring the burning and stinging sensation in her legs and for a second, Y/n thinks she may actually have a chance to get away, but of course that spilt second of hope gets shatter as some of the people chasing after her  soon catch up to her.

People grab at her arms and legs as Y/n tries desperately to resist and escape, but of course, it's all in vain as before she knows it, a pain shoots through her body from her head and her vision turns blurry before going black as blood trickles down her head, having been hit in the head with a blunt object.

When Y/n comes to, she sees herself tied above the ground to a wooden post with her arms tied behind her back as people all stare and sneer at her from the ground.

Realizing what happened, her eyes widened, and she immediately starts to struggle against her restraints. Her ears are ringing, but she can faintly hear the people yelling.

They yell things like "BURN HER!!" and "DON'T LET HER GO!!"

Suddenly, a hooded man walks through the crowd to the front and stops in front of her, in his hand, being a wooden torch. Seeing that, Y/n struggles more against her restraints as the man starts to speak.

"Due to your crimes that took place three days ago, we sentence you to 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙗𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚."

Hearing that, Y/n stops struggling against the restraints that tie her, and her eyes widen as she recalls the events that took place three days ago. She recalled what really happened as images from the night flash in her eyes.

{3 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨}

Y/n looks over at her mother and sees her mother in a trans like state. Y/n gets up from the dining table and slowly goes towards her mother before stopping in front of her. Y/n slowly raises her hand up and starts to wave it in front of her mother to see if she would react to it.. she doesn't..

Suddenly, Y/n hears something shatter in the kitchen. She looks over to where the kitchen is before looking back over to where her mom is. She then looks back at the kitchen before slowly walking towards it to see what shattered in it, leaving her mom by herself in the dining room.

Y/n investigates the noise in the kitchen. She looks around the kitchen before looking towards the window just above the stove. There, in the open window, is this blinding red light. Y/n tries to look away, but.. she can't.. the light, it's almost hypnotizing.

The light leaves Y/n in a trans like state, her eyes turning soulless and blank as she looks directly at the like.

Meanwhile, in the other room with her mom, her mom screams as she is suddenly lifted into the air by this invisible force before her neck suddenly snaps, killing her almost instantly.

I say almost as the force drops her body to the floor, her eyes still moving, but.. her body isn't.

Slowly, the life drains from her mother's eyes as she slowly dies on the floor, the only thing on her mind being 'protect Y/n'..

{𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲}

Before Y/n can even react and plead, they set a fire at her feet, not burning her just yet but it causes an uncomfortable warmth to shoot through her body as she realizes her impending death.

She fights against the rope restraining, but it proves futile as the fire reaches the wooden stake she's tied to, causing it to catch fire, the fire rapidly spreading.

Fear invades her body as she desperately fights against her restraints before suddenly, her eyes go blank as she stares ahead at something in front of her..

Ahead, in front of her, is a green light. A hypnotizing light, almost as hypnotizing as the red light from a few days ago, if not more.

The longer she stares at the light, the more limp her body becomes as she feels nothing.. no warmth of the fire slowly cooking her alive, no pain of the burns the fire gives her, her eyes are just.. blank.. and it seems only she can see the light..

As if whatever being that is in charge of light suddenly starts taking pity on her (either that or they find her situation amusing and wish to torment her more), the light suddenly charges towards her before entering her body, breaking her out of her trans, only a little too late, as she succumbs to her injuries, and slowly dies.. but.. she'll be back.. she always comes back..
