Beomgyu stumbled into his dorm room, dropping his backpack unceremoniously onto the floor. He kicked off his shoes, muttering under his breath. It had been one of those days where nothing went right, and he was utterly exhausted. College life was hard enough, but being an omega in a college full of alphas, betas, and a few vampires sprinkled in was another level of stress.
"Goddamn professor doesn't know his ass from his elbow," he grumbled, flopping onto his bed. He could still hear the whispers and feel the stares from his classmates, particularly the alphas. It wasn't easy being an omega with a scent as sweet and intoxicating as his. It attracted all kinds of unwanted attention.
Just as he was about to sink into a well-deserved nap, a loud thud from the room next door jolted him awake. "Seriously? What now?" he groaned, rolling off the bed and heading to the wall that separated him from his new neighbor.
"Hey! Keep it down, will ya?!" Beomgyu shouted, banging his fist against the wall.
Silence followed, then a faint chuckle. "Sorry about that," a smooth, deep voice replied. "Just moving some stuff around."
Beomgyu's annoyance was replaced with curiosity. He hadn't met the new neighbor yet, and that voice didn't sound like anyone he knew. With a sigh, he decided to introduce himself. Better to get it over with.
He walked out into the hallway and knocked on the door. A few moments later, it swung open, revealing a tall, strikingly handsome young man. His eyes were a piercing shade of brown, almost unnatural, and his skin was pale as marble.
"Hi, I'm Beomgyu," he said, extending his hand. "I live next door."
The stranger smiled, revealing a hint of sharp fangs. "Yeonjun," he replied, shaking Beomgyu's hand with a grip that was just a bit too cold. "Nice to meet you."
Great, just what I needed, Beomgyu thought. A vampire.
"So, you're new here?" Beomgyu asked, trying to keep the conversation going despite the growing awkwardness.
"Yeah, just moved in," Yeonjun replied, leaning against the doorframe. "Needed a change of scenery."
Beomgyu nodded, feeling a bit self-conscious under Yeonjun's intense gaze. "Well, welcome to the dorm. Just, you know, try to keep the noise down."
Yeonjun chuckled again. "I'll do my best. Thanks for the heads-up."
As Beomgyu turned to leave, he could feel Yeonjun's eyes on him, almost as if he were being studied. It sent a shiver down his spine. He hurried back to his room, closing the door behind him.
"Just my luck," he muttered to himself. "A hot vampire neighbor. As if I don't have enough problems."
He tried to get back to his nap, but his mind kept wandering back to Yeonjun. There was something unsettling yet undeniably attractive about him. Beomgyu couldn't shake the feeling that his life was about to get a lot more complicated.

Later that evening, Beomgyu found himself tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep. His mind was racing, and the faint, lingering scent of Yeonjun from earlier in the hallway seemed to cling to his senses. It was a mixture of something dark and sweet, like old wine and midnight secrets.
"Ugh, get a grip, Beomgyu," he muttered, sitting up and rubbing his face. "He's just a vampire. No big deal."
But it was a big deal. Vampires and werewolves had a long, complicated history. They coexisted now, more or less, but there was always tension. And for an omega like Beomgyu, it was even more risky. Vampires were notorious for being drawn to the scent of omegas, especially when they were in heat.
