4. Sai stays where?

Third POV- [Next Day - Day of Anant Chaturdashi, also Sai's day to be discharged]

Virat completes all formalities early in the morning and helps pack all their belongings from the hospital room into a bag. As Sai comes out of the washroom, he takes her to the doctor's cabin for a last check-up and follow-up for the care at home. As Sai stumbles a bit on the steps of the hospital, Virat steadies her and doesn't let go of his support.

As Sai sits in Virat's car, she gets hold of her phone and writes, 'My luggage?' and flashes it to Virat. (Saving paper and Earth.)

"It's at the new house; Sunny dropped it there when he went to check the new place out."

'Okay.' Sai writes and turns her head to the window, seeing the festive decorations and mobs of people with their idols, dancing and enjoying the procession even this early in the morning. Close her eyes and imagines Savi amidst all of them dancing and dragging Vinayak along with the enthusiastic dance moves as she and Virat follow them with Bappa idol, they all brought home and welcomed together as a family. Sadly, a car horn interrupts her daydreaming, and she lets herself take a quick nap, hoping to have that daydream continued.

Virat observes Sai closing her eyes after looking outside, assumes she is tired of all the activity and noise, and takes a different route to reach their destination.

Reaching the new place, he sees Sunny waiting at the open front gate, parks the car, and quietly gets out of his seat and goes to Sai's door.

"Sai, wake up. We have reached, come on." nudges her gently.

"Hmm." Sai makes a sound sleepily for the first time since her accident. Slowly rubbing her eyes, she carefully comes out of the car, taking the help of Virat's hand to stand steadily on the ground, but her knees buckle down, Virat takes her in his arms immediately as if waiting, and she notices for the first time they have not come to Chavan Nivas... even after knowing the decision of not going there. She is changing things, Sai realises.

Virat is overjoyed about getting a verbal reply, even a small sound, but doesn't point it out to make Sai self-conscious. He has listened to her crying silently after the therapy sessions, but after her panic attack, silence has followed even in her cries.  

"Hope you like it here, Sai." Virat takes Sai inside the house, pointing out the rooms in the house, and settle her on a bed in one of the rooms, requesting Sunny to collect their things from the car, who greeted her welcome at the front door.

Sai immediately takes her phone out to communicate further. 'What about Puja at Chavan Nivas? Aai told me about... Didn't we have to go there?' she asks remembering all the waiting and worrying about them starting Puja, even with few complaining over special treatment with her in previous life.

"You don't have to worry about them. And it's not compulsory to attend I will tell them you need rest, if you don't want to go back there. You can take your time to freshen up here and rest; we left the hospital early to avoid traffic." Virat replies.

'But what about Aai?'

"No pressure, Sai. Do you truly want to go and attend the Puja?" Sai thinks to Virat's questions. "Hmm." Sai makes the sound and writing quickly displays her screen. 'Yes, I want to say goodbye to Bappa we brought there.'

"Okay, we will go. But you will tell or get to me when you start getting tired, or anytime feeling uncomfortable, or just wanting to leave. Tug at my sleeve I will understand, okay?"
