I was at a bar, feeling completely lost. I had no intentions of going home. I was drowning in debt, and my father could no longer handle all my financial problems. I had lost my job and couldn’t believe I was at this stage in life. But I knew I had to do something. So, I went home, hoping for the best.

Losing a job when you have debt is the worst. Without an income, people keep waiting for their money. With shaky hands, I started applying for jobs. I didn't know when I would get one.

I went to bed with no hope and couldn’t sleep properly. But when I woke up, I had one email waiting for me. It was a job offer from Pranjal.com.

With some hope, I went for the interview.

When I entered the office, I met the CEO, Pranjal. She had started a company called Pranjal.com, which provided clothes and makeup at good prices. They had a 10-day project related to their website. I was happy because I would receive 30,000 rupees for the project. Even though it wasn’t much to cover all my bills, I was still pleased with the opportunity.

As I walked through the sleek, modern office, Pranjal greeted me with a warm smile. She explained the project requirements clearly, and I felt confident about contributing to their growing startup. The atmosphere in the office was vibrant and energetic, reflecting the innovative spirit of the company.

The funny part about it was that Pranjal was my junior at IIT. I was happy to work for her. After a few minutes into our discussion, she recognized me. I was happy to meet her again.

We exchanged numbers and started working. She had a small team of 20 people. I was happy to be a part of the team for some time.

To tell about Pranjal, she was short and cute. She had long, straight hair that reached her shoulders. She was extremely hard-working. Her mother had died of cancer, and there was always a bit of sadness in her eyes.

Somehow, I enjoyed working with her. I had many issues, but when I was with her, I forgot about everything. I didn't even realize when the 10 days passed. She called me for dinner as a token of thanks. I don't know why, but I shared my problems with her. She had already figured something was wrong. She called a few people and got me a job at a bank. I couldn't thank her enough. It became easier as we became friends.

We became good friends and started hanging out on weekends. Everything was good. There was a special kind of satisfaction between us, like we made each other complete. Yet, I never shared any of this with her.

Pranjal.com got a 5 million offer, and she decided to move to Singapore. I was kind of sad, but I accepted it. At the airport, my eyes got wet, and so did hers. Just before boarding, she tightly held my hands and started crying. She said she wants to be with me, that she's in love with me, and wants us to be together when she comes back.
