“You’re probably wondering why I have this car now aren’t you?” he said looking over at me from the wheel.
“ A little. Why do you walk if you have this?”
“It’s my brothers. My car is at home and I only use it when it’s raining to cut down on bills. But I wanted to pick you up in something cool.”
“To do maths?”
“Daniella, I’m not stupid. You’re a straight A student in maths. Why would you need tutoring? I’m taking you for a meal if that’s okay?”
Was he kidding? “Yeah, its fine. Oh and you don’t have to call me Daniella. You can call me Dani or Ella. That’s what my friends call me.”
“Ah! So I’m your friend” he said grinning slightly
“Only if you want to be” I said. I could feel my face burning up.
“Daniella, I want to be more than just friends with you”
Did I hear that right?
“I’m sorry. What” I said staring at him with my mouth unattractively wide open in utter shock. I was half expecting him to suddenly start laughing and saying ‘ha got ya’ but he didn’t.
“I like you Daniella, I really do. I want to be way more than friends. You’re smart, pretty and from what I’ve seen you have a nice personality. It’s very hard to find someone with all three of those qualities.”
Oh my god! Is he serious. Now I can officially say that my life just got a whole lot better!
Sorry this chapter is so short. The next one is longer I swear! xxx Daniella
