Chapter Fifteen

It had been morning, as König's alarm went off he woke up as he sighed seeing Scarlett still sleeping. He slowly got up putting on his uniform and mask as Scarlett moved around in her sleep. She looked up at him as he walked towards her "I gotta go okay I'll see you when I'm back." Scarlett nodded as she hugged him as tears fell down her face "I love you König I'm gonna miss you." He looked down at her "I love you too and I'm gonna miss you as well but I'll be back before you know it." Scarlett smiled as he lifted his mask kissing her deeply "I love you and I'll be back soon." Scarlett teared up "I love you too and I can't wait til you back." He pulled his mask back down as he walked out the door. Scarlett sat on the bed holding his pillow to her chest as she cried. König had went to his buddies as his boss looked at him. His boss Sammy walked to him, Sammy sat down "you've been getting distracted lately got anything you wanna tell me."

König looked at Sammy "yeah I met a girl she's actually really nice and I love her." Sammy shook his head "König you need to focus more these missions are more important than some girl." König nodded as he looked down slightly "I will focus more. And she is important to me sir." Sammy chuckled "I'm sure she is. But imma need you to stay for a month so we can get you ready for another mission." König nodded "yes sir can I tell my girl." Sammy nodded "yes when we get done with this let's go men!" S
Back at home Scarlett was at her job working as she saw Jade "hey I'm sorry Jade." Jade just rolled her eyes "sure you are." Scarlett walked towards Jade "can you let me explain what's going please? You're my best friend you're like my sister." Jade sighed as she looked at Scarlett "okay fine! But after work." Scarlett nodded "we will go out for drinks tonight and talk."

Later that night Scarlett and Jade were out of a club drinking. "So do you actually love him or what? And why him?" Jade said as she looked at Scarlett. Scarlett took a shot "of course I do and cause he's just different I really care about him." Jade nodded taking a shot as Scarlett got a text from König "call me when you can." Scarlett looked at Jade "can we go back to your place I need to call König." Jade nodded as they both took shots walking out of the bar back to jades place. Scarlett called König "hey everything okay?" König sighed "well not really they want me to stay a few weeks to get more things done." Scarlett's voice cracked as she teared up "I- but you said only a week." König heard her voice as he spoke "baby I will be back I promise." Scarlett whispered "I need you König." He teared up as he heard her say that "I know I promise I'll be home soon." Scarlett broke down "don't make promises you can't keep König.." She then hung up the phone as he laid his phone down "damn it!"

The next morning König was out doing missions with his crew as he received a text from Scarlett,

S: i love you please be safe.

K: I know I love you too and I will you be safe too.

Scarlett placed her phone in her pocket as she went back to making drinks. She walked into the back as Jade looked at her "hey you alright?" Scarlett looks at her "yeah I um just having a long day." Jade nodded "everything will be okay," Jade then hugs Scarlett "go home get some sleep and tonight we will go out to the club." Scarlett nodded "okay see you later." Scarlett went back home as she walked into her and König's bedroom. She laid on his side of the bed clinging to his pillow. She then got up as she went to his closet changing into his shirt and her panties. She laid back down on his bed cuddling with his pillow as she began to fall asleep. Hours had passed as Scarlett jolted awake breathing heavily. She looked around the room as she looked down, Scarlett grabbed her phone calling König. He heard his phone ringing as he rolled over looking at it he smiled softly as he saw it was Scarlett. He answered "hey my dear." Scarlett sat on his bed "I miss you, I wish you were here had a bad dream." König whispered "I miss you too, I'll be home soon. Bad dream of what?" Scarlett teared up covering her mouth "y-you didn't make back." König heard her voice crack slightly "hey it's okay sweetheart I'll be home I promise."

König best friend yelled for him as he sighed "I gotta go I'll see you soon I love you." Scarlett sniffles as she nodded "I love you too König." She laid her phone down as she curled up crying as she held his pillow close to her. She slowly fell sleep as she woke up it was the next morning as Jade had been calling her. Scarlett got dressed and fixed her hair and makeup. She drove to jades house as she knocked on the door. "Hey where have you been we was supposed to hang out last night," Jade said as she let her in. Scarlett walked in and sat on the couch "I was just exhausted I'm sorry I just got a lot on my mind." Jade closed the door as she sat next to Scarlett "talk to me what's goin on? Is it König?" Scarlett nodded "yes just worried he isn't gonna make it back." Jade hugged Scarlett "he will make it back I'm sure of it scar just gotta have faith." Scarlett hugged Jade back "maybe going out will help." Scarlett smiled a little "sure let's go." Jade had grabbed her car keys as they went shopping and got some food. Jade went home dropping off their things as they then left again going out to the club.
