After a rather exhausting journey, we finally reached our destination: the inn. This place was notably larger than I had initially imagined. I could see that the princess was visibly tired, as was my faithful little companion, so I entrusted her with his care while I took a well-deserved rest.
However, the peace and tranquility of the place were abruptly interrupted by a series of deafening crashes coming from the sky. The terrifying sounds seemed to herald an imminent catastrophe. At that critical moment, Abdiel, always alert and ready to face any danger, immediately ordered the young princess to hurry and fetch some vital potions from inside the inn. She nodded quickly and rushed to fulfill the order, running with all her might towards the inn.
Meanwhile, Abdiel turned to me with a serious expression and said, "I hope you're ready." Without wasting another second, he bravely charged at the invaders arriving. Seeing him, I knew it was my duty to support him, so without hesitation, I followed to join the fight. At that precise moment, Abdiel, with an aura of determination enveloping his figure, turned slowly and deliberately to look at me. His eyes held a serious and severe expression, as if weighing the gravity of our chances. With a firm and confident voice, he warned me, "I hope you're ready."
Without allowing another second to pass, he launched himself with overflowing bravery against the approaching wave of invaders, advancing with a menacing intensity. His brave figure, facing adversities with valor, was a truly inspiring sight.
Seeing his determination and courage, I immediately knew it was my duty to support him in this fight. I felt a strong sense of solidarity and commitment towards him. So, without allowing doubt to take hold of me, I followed in his footsteps with determination, ready to join the battle and face our enemies.
We both fought with unrestrained ferocity. Abdiel, with his shining armor and sharp sword, attacked with surprising agility, dancing through the battlefield like a whirlwind of steel. Each of his strikes was a thunderous sound in the air, taking down the invaders who dared to approach.
For my part, I manipulated ice, throwing sharp fragments like blades at the approaching enemies. Each piece of ice I launched was like an arrow cutting through the air, taking down invaders one after another.
No matter how many came, or how intimidating they might seem with their size or weapons. No matter the number of them rising against us or the threat they represented. Together, we were an unstoppable force, capable of defeating all who stood in our way.
Amid the intensity of the battle, at a high point of the confrontation, we suddenly felt a tremor in the ground that made us stop in our tracks. We both looked at each other, confused and puzzled, trying to understand what was happening.
Looking around, we saw something we never could have imagined: the inn began to rise, tearing away a piece of the earth it was embedded in. The inn, as it took off, emitted an impressive blue glow that illuminated everything around it. Its light was so luminous that I couldn't help but feel drawn to it. I knew, at that moment, that I had to go there.
Without hesitation, I started running towards the flying inn. But when I looked back, I saw that Abdiel was still fighting, even though it was no longer necessary. Seeing his stubbornness and refusal to abandon the battle, I grabbed him with all my strength and dragged him with me towards the inn now soaring through the skies. I don't know where I found the courage to grab him so forcefully; I just knew I couldn't leave him behind.
