General and Crown Prince

The courtier beside Jon kneeled immediately seeing Ace losing control over his emotion and said trembling, "Forgive us, Your Royal Highness. Young Master Allen was immature and careless. Please don't take it to heart. This will never happen again. I promise to inform everything that happened today to the Right Minister." For now, at least this old dude of not late to react. 

Ace just sneered and spat out the words as if they were poison, "I'm not being merciful. Daniel will be the one deciding what to do. Take your young Master out of my sight before I kill him."

The courtier bowed several times before grabbing John, but he stayed still without moving an inch. The courtier was about to cry saying Let's go but didn't work, and his next word shocked him till his sweat ran out.

John felt his heart crushed by something hard. He stammered, "What? Why are you saying these ridiculous things? Stephen, I know General Daniel is your good friend, and you are joking about being in love with him, but you shouldn't be so cruel to me. I love you. Can't you just accept me?"

Even if he didn't meet with Stephen, even though they hadn't had any beautiful moments, even though he was just meeting him in his imagination, he did like him. The handsome face that can topple anyone's heart and make him bend over is only Stephen till now. During having intercourse with a lady in the brothel, only his face makes him feel pleasure. But now the same person in front of him is saying that he loves another person. Isn't this cruel for him? His fair face and porcelain skin now have a different story of agony. But of course, no one felt bad for him.

The soldiers were already swearing in their hearts. They can't help but want to kick him out. John is so shameless. He almost killed a person here and here again, talking about love and cruelty. Moreover, Ace felt like puking blood over Jon's face. His earlier urge to say how he felt and the killing intent that he concealed after seeing Aaron okay, burst out immediately. His mocking tone along with displeasure flew, "You talk about cruelty? Huh? Do you know the meaning of cruel? When you threw the dagger towards my Daniel, did you not feel cruelty? What did Daniel do to you? Were his words unreasonable? Do I look like an idiot?!!"

"Dare to talk about love so bluntly, do you even know what it means." His voice was loud, making John tremble.

John said, tearing and bursting out like rain pouring after a long summer, "I did that for us. I always wanted to be with you. But your attention was always on him. Am I not good enough like him, do I not have good looks, I'm well-versed in literature, I even tried to enter the military for you. Can't you see, my love?"

Ace said his words filled with sarcasm, "Young master Allen, I don't like you, let alone love you. From the first moment, we met, you made me disgusted with you. Your true nature, maybe people are unaware of it but I'm aware of everything about you. So, don't bother the act. You are asking me why I love him, right?"

"I will tell you. He is someone I have waited a decade for. When he left, you know how much I cried. How unwilling I was. I was on the verge of collapsing."

He took a deep breath and added, "For years, I was waiting for him alone. Thinking if only he would stay with me forever. I knew it would never happen. In those lonely years, I was dead. Nothing would make me laugh from the heart, nothing. Not you neither my parents nor the whole citizen of our kingdom be equal to him." The firmness in his voice was like a dragon's delirium rip-off the heart of others, sounded.

He asked, "Can you understand the loneliness I faced for ten years without my love? Can you understand the worry my heart held every time war broke out? Thinking if he is alright or not, he is eating well or not. The end of the war and his safety assured my heart that I got to breathe a while more. I can live longer if he is alive. Can you understand me?"

His voice turned hoarse, but he didn't stop, "You know the reason he stayed there for this long?" he raised his delicate brows and chuckled, "He was there to make name and status for himself. So, he can be equal to me. So, he can love me with dignity. Just to be with me. Just tell me now can you understand me? Can you understand the love and sacrifice we made to be together now?"

The confession is true from Stephen. Ace with the memories of the original host could describe the emotions that Stephan felt were different towards Daniel. Both had feelings for each other. He was very sad after Daniel left him, but John came between them, scheming his way to Stephen. He plotted and separated them. But Stephan never loved John, he never touched this filthy body, even though he married him. Ace doesn't feel even an ounce of clemency for someone like John. Now both Stephen and he have the same person to love, how could he just leave it without letting others know?

The surrounding seems to be in silence, only John's tearing made a sound. The Crown Prince's heartfelt confession made every soldier there dumbstruck. This confession clears the doubts that many people express during any meeting be it at the court or at the street, that why the Crown Prince doesn't have a single person [man or woman] in his harem. He was always waiting for General Daniel's arrival to the capital. This kind of act is very noble to even within the commoners. Their admiration for him has now leveled up to another high level. Every soldier is lovesick to some extent. They are people who can give away their life at any moment for the nation and yearns for love desperately. If hearing this confession, they didn't feel torn up, then no one in the world could feel it.

Like what Ace asks, will they ever know the loneliness he and Daniel felt all those years? No never. Daniel entered the palace after a whole ten years. He never in between returned home to see him.

Ace shook his head in rage. His eyes glitter with crystal-like tears that he refused to drop and again said, "How can you do that? If you loved me, would you try to kill my Daniel? Is your love for me to see if I'm in pain or not? Believe it or not, you just wanted the glory that's only I can give you. If something happened to him, not only you, but I would also not let go of anyone in your family. Till I kill every one of them."

"I found him a moment ago wanting to give him everything. And you wanted to snatch him from me. You are being ridiculous." He just had Aaron with him for the day before, and he knows that this is only the first world, and they have more than a thousand worlds together, but he forbids seeing him toss and turn by others.

Everyone knows Genera Daniel Frank returned only two days ago after the war a month ago again, and now he is injured. Moreover, he was injured in capital and not in the battlefield. If not his lover, who would feel wrong?

He waved to the eunuch and said, "Go inform my father to not impede in my matters, including my love life. It doesn't concern them. I will be going to General's home. Tell him to order someone else for Jenal's assignment to go with General Sam and wait for me to return."

He can see how desperate Stephen is for Daniel and also how they match each other, but he doesn't think that the king will accept it. The King values the Minister more.

Hearing this, John who was crying his heart and lungs out suddenly smiled smugly, but it was shattered the next moment by Ace.

"I may not be the king, but I surely have every right to seek justice and choose my love, right?" Ace asked the middle-aged courtier who seemed to be in deep thought, who spoke up his concern. He again said, "If he can't grant this small wish of mine, then I don't want this Crown at all. Standing at the highest position in this country and being ruled by others like this? I can't accept this." His eyes expressed a firm story behind this decision, "Ask them, Crown or John."

The last sentence made the courtier and others utterly speechless. It goes without any extra thought 'Crown'. They only have you as their heir. There was only one thought, ringing their mind, 'Prince is head over heels for General Daniel!!!!!'

Ace didn't bother to say anything to anyone. He glared at John and then said, "Your maid, I have got rid of her. Dare to plant a spy in my place you are very daring." This left another storm for gossip. John dare to plant a spy to monitor Stephan. Thins is already unbearable.

The eunuch took note of everything and left the place.
