Chapter 1

Y/n pov:

I was walking down to the dock when I saw a pirate ship. I ram into the bar, which was the closest to the dock. I went around going to spread the news. "I'm not dancing if that's what you asked me-" a green haired man said. "Pirates at the dock, probably going to invade the village. Can you uh spread the news?" I ask him. His facial expressions stiffened. "How many?" He asked. "Looked like over 50" I answered. The man mumbled. "Who's the captain?" He asked "Morobos pirates." I simply said. "Never heard of em." He mumbled. "Does he have a bounty?" "Yeah 30 million." I muttered. "That high? And I still never heard of him, huh.." he trailed off. "I'd say I could take him." He scoffed. "Seriously?" I ask, wondering if he was sarcastic or not. "Yeah." He nodded his head. "Against like 49 more pirates too?" I questioned. He nodded his head. "Where is he?" "By the dock." I answered. He began walking out of the bar. "Hey wrong direction!" I shout after him. I went with him and brought him to the dock. "There is the ship." I say pointing to the ship at the dock. "It's big enough." He pointed out. "Yeah, it is." I reply back. A pirate spotted us, thinking we were a threat. We were quickly surrounded. "God, what do they want?" I say annoyed. "What do YOU want?" A pirate asked. "No-" I was cut off by the man. "To end you." The man smirked. "Huh-" I stuttered. The pirates took out their swords. I take out a blindfold and put it on. "What do you need that for?" He asked. "My fighting style." I mumble to him. We began to get charged by the pirates. I took one side while he took the other. I paid attention to my side. I wiped out my side. I take off my blindfold to see him looking at me. "Not bad, not bad." He applauded. "Thanks." I nodded my head. "So that's like already, What 20 of them already gone?" He said. "Yeah, that is." I nodded. We snuck onto the ship. "Right, where is this captain at?" He smirked. "Uh, don't know." I answered honestly. We searched the ship until a pirate spotted us. "Dammit." I mutter under my breath. "Prepare." He whispered to me. "Yeah I am." I whispered back. Pirates began to run out onto the deck, surrounding us. "And the game begins." He smirked. I put back on my blindfold as we began fighting. During the fight, we heard the captains voice booming. "Stop this fight!" He shouted over the fighting. The pirates stopped and looked up. "Why captain? They already killed half of the crew.." One spoke up. "Because I want to fight them myself." He announced. "Well, bring it on old geezer." I smirked. He walked down and stood across from us. My blindfold was only covering one eye currently. "Well, bring it on." The green haired man said. I still haven't got his name yet. I put back on my blindfold properly and waited for the first move. The captain rushed down. We both dodged and tried to attack him. I landed my hit, knocking him sideways into the green hair. He kicked, passing him to me. I kicked him back. We passed him back and forth. "Stop this!" He shouted. We both chuckled. "Nah." I laugh. His eye flashed with annoyance. He tried to punch me, but I grabbed his arm and twisted it. He cried, out in pain. I tossed him to the green haired, to let him do his work. He cut him up and left him bleeding on the ground. "Job done." He muttered. I hummed in response. "So what's your name? Never caught it." I asked. "I'm Roronoa Zoro. Call me Zoro." He introduced. That name rang a bell in my head, but I couldn't put a finger on it. "Nice to meet you. I'm y/n l/n, but call me y/n" I put out my hand. Zoro took it. "Nice to meet you too."
