After dinner with my family, I headed upstairs and got ready for bed. As per usual, I spent a fair amount of time stalking people, texting Matt, Kelsey and Adam. Soon Enough, I felt my eyelids drooping shut and decided it was time to sleep even though it was only 11:40. I placed my phone on my bookshelf, rolled over and closed my eyes, waiting for sleep to come.

However, sleep eluded me. This didn't surprise me though, I had difficulty falling asleep in general, it was only 11:40 and tomorrow was the first day of school, which always made me jittery. Despite my resentment of Brighton High, and many of the people in it, I still couldn't help but get excited the day before. Excitement related to reconnecting with old friends, and being one year closer to leaving that shit-hole. Of course I was also excited to meet new people. Speaking of which, I wonder what the deal is with Andrew. He seemed like a bit of a player at the mall, but the boxes he brought in filled with books, showed a different side to him. A side I'd like to know and become friends with.

Suddenly, I was reminded of how I had given him pizza hut's number in place of my own, and imagined the scene, laughing. I looked at the clock. It read 12:00. I rolled over and pulled my comforters up to fall asleep. But it was way too hot for that, so I got up to turn on my fan and open the window. As I did the latter, I realized I could see straight into what I assumed was his room. Awkward. He wasn't in there, so I decided I didn't care and hopped back into bed.

Andrew Hunter's POV

I ate dinner with my family, and after watching some TV, headed up to my new room. I found my phone among one of the many boxes, and lay down with it, on instagram. I heard the sound of my door opening, and my 14 year old brother Freddie walked in.

"Ever heard of knocking? What if I was jerking off and you walked in?" I asked. The lack of privacy in my house was appalling. "Don't worry, I wouldn't have seen anything anyway, your phone would block it." He said, plopping down on the bed next to me. I stared down at my phone which was indeed covering my crotch "My phones only like 5 inches high." I pointed out. "exactly." He said. I threw a pillow at him. "What do you want from me Freddie?" I asked, annoyed. "I was hanging out at the neighbor's house, they have a kid my age, and the sister's pretty hot. How old do you think she is?" he asked.

"Too old for you, that's for sure. But hey, you're starting High School, why don't I teach you how to get the girls?" I offered, finding her in my contacts and calling her. I put it on speaker, so Freddie could learn from my ways, and a voice answered, "Pizza Hut of Rochester, New York, this is Anna how may I help you?" Freddie fell into a fit of laughter, as I told Anna I had dialed the wrong number, and hung up. "Real smooth." Freddie managed through his laughter. I shot him dagger eyes, as I placed my phone back on the bed. While I did so I noticed that my bedroom window was right next to hers, allowing me to see into her room. What genius contractor thought that was a good idea? I opened my window and called out, through her opened one, "Thanks, I actually was really in the mood for pizza, how did you know?"

Clearly startled by my voice, she jumped up and fell off her bed, face planting on the floor. I laughed, while she slowly lifted her head up and shot daggers at me. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! I'm trying to sleep here!" she whisper-yelled. "It's only 12:00. Even Pizza Hut is open, which I know thanks to your help. Oh and also, wonderful fall, I only wish I filmed it." I called. She stared at me confusedly, than seemingly remembered, and fell into a fit of laughter. After laughing for what must have been a solid 5 minutes, she got up, walked over to the window, and began closing it. If you wake me up one more time, you won't live to see tomorrow," she hissed, as she shut it tight. "Someone's grumpy." I called. "You would be too if your neighbor sucked as much as mine." She called back.

I turned to face Freddie who was still laughing. "That was amazing. I learned so much. Like how to get turned down by a girl." He said. "Shut up and get out of my room." I snapped. Thankfully, he obeyed, and I crawled into bed, shut off the lights and fell asleep.
