Forever the accomplice
Forever number two
I was always the sidekick
The hero was always you.
I was always in your shadow
Never on my own
I was never my own person
I was only ever your clone
My name was never known
No, I was just the friend
At least that was before everything changed
Before it all came to a tragic, tragic end.
Endings can be strange that way.
They could be happy, blissful, or mad
But the thing about our ending was
It was very very sad.
We had that little 'Falling out'
at least that's what I hear
The only things I know are rumors
I don't even know that girl in the mirror.
In all honesty I miss you
Even if you could be mean
Because friendships like ours
Are few and far between.
If ever you came back
And this is the honest truth
I wouldn't even bother to fight
I think I'd just hug you.
