As the rain poured outside, she stood by the window, her heart heavy with longing. Pulling back the curtain, she peeked outside, yearning to feel the cold breeze and the freshness of the air that had been absent from her life for so long.

In that moment, the door to the room quietly opened. He entered, silently observing her as she stood by the window, lost in her thoughts with headphones in her ears. He paused, taking in the scene before him, understanding deeply how much she missed being outside. He couldn't bear to see her like this, knowing how confined she must feel.

Later that night, after the family had gone to bed and the rain continue to pour outside, he noticed her melancholy expression as she finished up some of his extra office work.

He gently proposed an idea to break the monotony."Do you want to go outside?" he asked softly, catching her off guard.

She looked at him, surprise and hesitation mingling in her eyes. She hadn't expected him to suggest such a risky venture, because she hadn't dare asked him herself fearing he might scold her for compromising her safety.

He continued, reading her hesitation. "It's still raining. No one will be at the park. We can enjoy a peaceful outing, just for a little while."

Her heart raced with both fear and longing. The idea of stepping outside, even briefly, brought a mix of excitement and apprehension. With a nod, she agreed, trusting him to keep her safe.

They hurriedly donned masks and hoodies, moving quietly through the house to avoid waking anyone. Sneaking out into the rainy night, they made their way towards the nearby park.

As they reached the park, raindrops fell lightly around them, accompanied by chilly winds. They found a bench and sat down, savoring the feeling of being outdoors. The scent of wet earth combined with the freshness of rain, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

As the rain poured down, she couldn't resist the urge to feel its cool touch on her skin. With a gentle motion, she removed her mask, allowing her long hair to flow freely out of its bun. Standing there, she closed her eyes and let herself soak in the rain, savoring the sensation of each raindrop on her face and the refreshing feeling it brought. Feeling how freedom must feel, how peace must feel.

He watched her, captivated by the sight of her in that moment. It had been so long since he had seen her this peaceful, this genuinely happy. The way her eyes shimmered with delight under the gray sky filled him with a deep sense of warmth. He adored how the rain seemed to wash away the worries and fears that had burdened her for so long, if only for a fleeting moment.

As they stood together in the rain, the thunder echoed loudly , a dramatic pause to the peaceful moment they were sharing. He felt a surge of protectiveness as he pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her, shielding her from the elements.

As the thunder slowed down and rain still poured. She looked up at him, her eyes wide with surprise and something more—perhaps a hint of vulnerability that mathched his own. In that charged moment, he couldn't resist the magnetic pull between them.

With a gentle touch, he cupped her chhek,he lifted her chin, his thumb caressing her wet skin softly. He brushed aside strands of her damp hair, his cold fingers leaving a tingling sensation on her wet skin.Their eyes locked, speaking volumes of unspoken feelings.

The sound of rain around them seemed to fade.

Without hesitation, he leaned in slowly, his lips meeting hers in a sweet and tender kiss. It was a moment filled with warmth and a mixture of passion and gentleness, a silent plea of the connection they had formed in their time together. For a heartbeat, they were lost in the sweetness of the kiss, the rain continuing to fall around them.

The sensation of his touch and the sweetness of the kiss left her breathless, her heart racing with a mixture of emotions

But then, as if surprised by the intensity of the kiss, she pulled back suddenly, her eyes wide with surprise. She took a step back, her hand covering her mouth as she looked at him, a mix of emotions crossing her face—confusion, disbelief, and moment of fear.

Before he could say anything, she turned on her heels and ran, disappearing into the rain-slicked paths of the park. He stood there, his heart pounding with a mixture of emotions—confusion, regret, and a deep longing that he couldn't quite put into words.

As the rain continued to fall, he remained rooted to the spot, replaying the fleeting kiss in his mind and wondering what had just occurred.

knowing that she doesn't have key to the house or the room As he goes towards the house, his steps heavy with concern, he reached the ninth floor and found her standing by the window, her gaze fixed on the rain outside.

Placing a hand gently on her shoulder, he turned her around, he was surprised to see her eyes red and tears on her cheeks expecting to comfort her from whatever had caused her tears he reached his hands towards her but suddenly she fliches from his touch, trying to move away from him, he felt a sharp pang of surprise and hurt.

Confusion clouded his thoughts as he tried to understand her reaction. Did she despise him so much that his attempts at comfort repulsed her?

Did the kiss he had shared with her disgust her to the point of recoiling from his touch? The pain of these thoughts tore at his heart, leaving him surprised and heartbroken.

Despite his inner turmoil, he couldn't bear the thought of letting her go.

With a tightening grip on her hand, he led her back towards the house. Unlocking the door and leading her inside, he left her standing there, tears silently streaming down her face.

Feeling at a loss for how to face her, he retreated to the bathroom, locking himself in and staring at his reflection in the mirror. His own eyes reflected back a sense of failure and self-disgust, feeling like a disappointment to her and to himself.

Quickly changing into dry clothes, he returned to the room, not giving her a chance to explain. Switching off the lights abruptly, he climbed into bed and turned away, burying himself in the darkness and the turmoil of his thoughts. Sleep eluded him that night, haunted by the silent tears and the unanswered questions that lingered between them.
