Hypertana angst 5

INSPIRED BY A MOMENT IN THE HUNGER GAMES APP THINGY (TW: Blood)

"Why have you brought us here Valk?"

Katana asked as he sat next to Boombox and Valk. Supposedly He had some important information that could help them in the hunger games. He wanted to decline, but Katana thought last second that maybe Valk had weapons to share with him and Boombox. If that was the case, maybe he could bring some weapons to Hyperlaser. Wonder how he's doing now...

"Yeah, why did you bring us here?" Boombox asks, scooting a bit away from Katana because of their height difference. "Well... I recently got some new weapons that are powerful and useful, and so I decided to gift some to y'all!" Valk says excitedly. "That's cool!" Boombox says, wanting to see the weapons. "...But where, may I ask, are the weapons exactly?" Katana asks, trying to locate them. "Well, I put them outside the hut in case one of y'all tried to steal them. But I'll go get them right now!" As Valk says that he goes out of the hut, looking for the weapons. Katana and Boombox are alone in the hut, waiting for Valk to return. Katana senses something is off, something that shouldn't be here... "..Hey, Boombox?" "Yeah?" "Do you fe-"

BOOM!  Before Katana could finish talking, a bomb set off underneath them. A loud boom could be heard from miles away.

[VALKS PERSPECTIVE] "Such foolish fools!.." He says quietly, sneaking away from the hut. He planted a bomb right where Katana and Boombox are in the hut before they came. "They should've thought twice before making their mistake!" As fast as sonic running, he presses the button that connects to the bomb. A few seconds later, a BOOM is heard, fire and smoke illuminating a part of the sky. Valk quickly runs further away, hoping nobody knows he caused the explosion

Meanwhile, Hyperlaser was grabbing water from a river to quench his thirst. As he finished drinking water, he pulls his helmet down and grabs his weapons. "Wonder how Katana's doing.." He says silently to himself. The last time he saw Katana was when he was telling him that Valk had important news and that he was going to the meeting with Boombox. As Hyperlaser continues replaying the memory in his mind, he hears a loud BOOM come from a side of the forest. The smoke seems to come from a small hill covered with trees where Katana was supposed to..meet... "Oh god, please no..." Hyperlaser runs as fast as he can to the source of the explosion, hoping Katana is okay.

Katana's body feels as if it is in an ocean of pain. With every slight movement he does, a new wave of pain washes over his body. He weakly opens his eyes, trying to take in his surroundings. He can feel his mask is shattered and blood dripping from his body. He also sees Boombox's lifeless body next to him splattered in blood. There are also small fires around them, causing Katana's anxiety to slowly rise. Katana's eyes unwillingly start to close, more blood spewing out of him. He just wishes to see Hyperlaser one last time again before he dies...

Hyperlaser continues to run where the explosion happened when he freezes in horror of the sight of the scene. The scene is filled with destroyed trees, fire, and pools of blood. One of the pools of blood lead to the lifeless body of Boombox, looking as if he got shredded to pieces by a feral animal. He then spots Katana on the ground, his clothes soaked in blood and his mask shattered, revealing 60% of his face. Hyperlaser quickly runs to Katana and lifts him into his arms. "Katana, are you here?" He asks, hoping he isn't dead yet. "Please, wake up..."

Katana feels like they're in an empty void, floating around. For a few seconds he feels no pain and no noise, like he's found some sort of peace in the "void" when he hears a voice calling out to him. "Katana..." Katana floats to the voice calling out to him, wondering who is saying his name. As he floats to the voice, he starts to open his eyes, gaining consciousness again.

As Hyperlaser thinks Katana isn't going to wake up, he weakly stirs in Hyperlasers arms. "Katana-" Hyperlaser says out of shock. "Katana,  a-are you alive?" Katana slowly opens his eyes, pain flowing into his body again. "Hyper..." he mumbles weakly, blood dripping from the side of his mouth. "Katana, what happened here? Did Valk hurt you and Boombox?" Hyperlaser asks, wanting to know what happened. "Valk..." Katana says weakly. "...set a..bomb..." Hyperlasers stomach sinks as Katana says that. How could Valk do something like that?Hyperlaser thinks. "Hang on a bit longer, Katana. I-I'll treat your injuries. I promise!.." Hyperlaser says, pain in his voice. He doesn't want to loose Katana, not like this. Katana feels his soul leaving his body, he knows that he's about to die soon, so he says one final thing to Hyperlaser before he goes. "Hyper... I love you..." As Katana says that, his body goes limp, more blood spewing from his body. "Katana..NO!" Hyperlaser cries out, pleading for Katana to wake up again. "Katana, please! Wake up! KATANA!" No matter how hard Hyperlaser tries to wake up Katana, it's futile. "Katana..." Hyperlaser says painfully, continuing to hold Katana's dead body in his arms. "If I came with you... everything would've been..." Hyperlaser couldn't finish the sentence, it was too painful to talk, especially since his lover just died. The only thing he can do now is to continue grieving in silence, wondering how he will continue without Katana
