Her feet ran as fast they could carry her. Across the dirt and rocks to the cliff that met the open ocean. The wind flew around her asking her to fly as well. She sigh out of relief for this beauty was free from that place that began to isolate her. Her white wings spread and was pushed back by the wind. For a moment she began to remember those beautiful days in that cage the kind people and beautiful court yard and for a moment she began to wish to go back. Getting up was hard if not for her body that ached just out of melancholy. These past months in that place made her realize why she wanted to be free. At last she was free but why was she having thoughts of turning back? That she did not know but she knew she had to leave or she could not continue her to be. So she walk to the edge looked down at the jagged rock below and jumped. On the way down her wings spread and up into the clouds. There she said to herself "Oh thank you for freeing me. Maybe someday I will return and thank you."
