The rain fell in relentless sheets, drumming against the windows of the Lee family's penthouse. The city below, a sprawling testament to wealth and power, glittered under the stormy sky. In the heart of this opulence, a young woman stood by the window, her reflection a ghostly twin in the glass.

Lee Jia was a mystery, even to herself. Raised in simplicity despite her family's vast empire, she had always felt the weight of her unseen crown. Her father, Lee Yoon, a titan in the business world, and her mother, Choi Jieun, a designer whose name was synonymous with elegance, had crafted a life of anonymity for her. Yet, the tranquility of her existence had been shattered. Kang Inhan, her closest confidant and almost-brother, was gone-his life cut short in a hit-and-run accident that left more questions than answers.
