Sofia the first : The love beyond infinity

Reminder of the memories

Hugo's P.O.V. : 

I sat by Sofia, anxiously waiting for class to begin as I felt the stares of all the girls in our class piercing through me. I nudged Sofia, "When's class going to start?" yet I got silence as a reply. It felt weird seeing Sofia once more, felt as if I were at peace... But nothing was going on between us, we were good friends and having those memories will always remind me I'm not alone, even when I think I'm not. Although what was going on between Sofia and Axel..? Why did Sofia jump into his arms at first glance, it looked like they knew more about each other than Sofia and I, could it be? I didn't want to overthink but nothing was stopping me, they never said a peep about their relationship with each other so I was speechless. 

"Hugo?" Someone interrupted my thoughts by only saying my name.

"What?"

"Class has ended." 

"Oh..."

It ended? Already? That was one quick lesson, almost too quick, but who am I to talk. Sofia and I were tense with each other while walking along the hallway, it seemed as if our bond wasn't as good as it were before, in fact I never knew it decreased that fast, I only found out because we had no chemistry at all! So I got to talking; "Remember when we use to do royal ice dancing." I mentions, chuckling at the thought of our young minds back then.

"Yeah, that day was rather enjoyable." 

I felt as if she were talking to one of the other royals, and not me which made me fee a bit frustrated. 

"When was the last time we met up?" I tried to break up the ice."

"2019, November the 2nd." She coldly replied slowing down her pace as we strolled up towards the ladies room.

"Really? It's been 3 years?!" I queried at the idea of not knowing it's been that long, no wonder our friendship was slowly fading away.

"Can I go in by myself or are you coming in with me?" Sofia questioned as I was 1 step away from entering the ladies room.

"Sorry, I'll just wait."

Sofia's P.O.V. : 

I couldn't believe he was following me, especially into the ladies room! My heart was racing as every twist and turn I took, he would do the same. But, it reminded me of when he used to tease me and follow me around everywhere, those days were just filled with pure happiness. Maybe, one day, things would go back to the way it used to be, I mean we are getting closer, I guess... I soon finished what I needed to do in the ladies room and I come out to see Hugo, still waiting there for me.

"Why are you still here, shouldn't you be eating or making friends?"

"Just don't feel like it right now."

We both ignored our conversation but bringing up an unfinished one, "So, why are you and Axel so close now?"

"Oh, well, we met up a few times over the years by accident and we had some fun getting to know each other."

I kept on explaining to Hugo what had happened to bring Axel and I closer together, yet as I continued with my story he seemed to be clutching his hands. 

"Now, what are you doing in EverRealm academy?" I asked raising one of my brows waiting for a response. 

Hugo opened his mouth as a sound peeped out of it but it got interrupted by, yet, another bell that continuously rang.

"Tell you later?" 

"Sure..."
