Iwaizumi knew he wouldn't see his best friend after graduation, but Iwaizumi never was good at letting go.

"Iwaizumi - san!" Hajime was startled to hear his name, especially since he was in a library. He looked up to the male who had called out for him, recognizing him instantly. "Hello Makki - san." "Heyy long time no see! How have you been?" Iwaizumi didn't know how to respond to the question. He'd been fine, if fine was a word to describe his life at the moment. "I've been good Makki, what about you?" He managed to let out the answer. Makki rambled about a new job and his coworkers, Hajime couldn't help but think his life must be miserable compared to his old friends. They all are moving on to other things whilst Iwaizumi was stuck in the past. "So I was thinking, we should get together! You know the old second and third years! It'd be fun, especially to catch up. Can I trust you to ask Oikawa?"
Iwaizumi immediately went stiff. He hadn't heard that name in months. And now Hajime knew why the past haunted him so much, everything that made up the past, was Tooru. "Are you alright Hajime - san?" Makki looked confused and concerned at the sudden shift in Iwaizumi's body language. "Yes i'm alright, although I cannot ask Oikawa - san to consider the invitation." "Why's that?" Makki chirped.
"I haven't spoken to him since he renounced his Japanese citizenship."
