Chapter Four.

CH.4

~Time skip~
(Last class of the day)

"Mr. Smith is really cool. He's one of my favorite teachers!" Said Eren while we walked out of the History teacher, Mr. Smith's, class.

"I noticed! You raise your hand all the time!" I said giggling a little.
I sighed.

"What's wrong? Didn't you like the school?" Eren's face expressed worry.

"Oh no! It's not that! I love this school! But it's just... I didn't think I would get detention on my first day!" I said.

"Oh... Well, if it makes you feel any better, I got detention on my first day in his class too." He chuckled. "He's a real ass."

"I guess I feel better now?" We both laughed as we continued chatting and walking towards Mr. Ackerman's classroom.

"Welcome to detention, brats." He greeted us as we entered.

We sat in the front row of desks as we waited to hear what he would make us do during this time.

"Well, I'll assign you some tasks or whatever. Jeager, this isn't the first time you're here. You should know better." He sorted some papers out and walked towards Eren, handing them to him. Make about 20 copies of each except the last two. "I'll need 40 of those. You know were I store my paper in the copy room, right? Take as much as you need. Now go."

"Yes sir..." Eren mumbled something under his breath before leaving.

Mr. Ackerman then turned to me and sat where Eren was, next to me.

"I'm disappointed, Hirsch. I thought you would be a good girl in my class just like in all the other teacher's classes." He said sternly.

"I'm sorry sir! I promise it won't happen again..." I looked down shamefully.

He got up and stood in front of me, leaning down so our faces were temptingly close.

"That's good to hear. Be a good girl, okay? If you're a good girl, I won't have to punish you."

I blushed. 'Oh, I want you to punish me...' I thought. 'Gwenn! What the heck?! He's your teacher! Get it together!' I shook those thoughts out of my mind.

"O-of course sir. I'll be good from now on. You can count on it."

"Good. Now... I'll need you to clean the surfaces of these tables." He slid his finger over the surface of the desk I was sitting at. "They're filthy."

"Yes sir! Right away!"

~Time skip~
(After detention)

"Alright brats, time's up. You can go home. Oh and, don't forget about your homework."

"Yes sir. Good evening." We both said in unison.

As we walked out Eren started talking about how the copy machine was acting up and Ms. Hanji came in to help him fix it.

"How did he treat you? Did he scare you?" He asked.

"N-no." I blushed remembering how close our faces were, what he had said, and what I had thought about it. "He was decent. He just told me to... Behave."

"Really? On my first day he gave me a one hour lecture on how to respect adults or something. I forgot" He laughed. "Anyways, where do ya live? I could maybe walk you so you aren't alone. And maybe come for you along with the others in the morning."

"Well, do you know that restaurant or bar named Boar's Hut?"

"Yeah! The food is SO good! I go there sometimes with my parents. Or with some friends. Do you live close to that place?"

"Actually, I live in the little apartment that's upstairs. My brother owns it now."

"Wait... So you're Mr. Hirsch's niece? How could I be so dumb! I knew I had heard your name somewhere! He used to talk about his brother's children all the time. He was really proud of you guys. I'm really sorry about what happened..."

"Oh it's fine. Don't worry about it..."

"Well, I guess I will walk you. The place is on my way home."

"Thanks, I appreciate it."

We walked and chatted until I had reached home.

"Well Gwenn, see ya tomorrow. I'll come along with Armin and Mikasa and we'll walk together, okay?"

"Yeah, thanks. See you tomorrow. Bye, Eren."
