Amara wakes up late.
Her body feels sluggish but it's due to over sleeping.
She went to the bathroom and took a hot shower.
Amara eats a late breakfast and the butler makes sure to tell Amara how the twin takes good care of her last night.
She smiles.
She remembers what happened.
It was heartwarming that when you are sick, there are people who would care for you.
At school, Francheska sat next to the twin.
"Hello." She smiles awkwardly. She thinks the twin have their guards against her from day 1 but today it was especially visible.
"Huh?" Lucas frowns.
"Why are you sitting in our table? Go away."
"It wasn't nice to say something like that." Francheska said sadly.
"It is also not nice to invade our personal space." Lucas glares at her.
"What is your lunch today? It looks tasty. Want to share meals with the teacher?"
Francheska smiles ignoring Lucas.
"Teacher, you are being annoying." Leon said emotionlessly without looking at her.
Francheska felt a chill.
"Tsk."
The twin didn't talk to Francheska, whatever she says. The meal was bland and gloomy but Francheska stood her ground and didn't leave. After the meal, she was a bit upset.
She left with a sad face.
The students around the cafeteria whispers at each other talking about how mean the twins are.
"Step mom knows her right?" Lucas said, folding his arms and leaning back on his chair.
Leon shrugged his shoulders.
"Maybe. Her reaction last night may be due to her illness. But it was still strange "
"Who would just talk about a new substitute homeroom teacher and think of them as a love rival?" Lucas rolls his eyes.
"She has been obsessed with dad long before dad married our mother yet so this girl could be another fan."
"Maybe, maybe not. But she can't be too clingy with us. She wasn't even restraining herself when she kept calling our name and praising us to the skies. I feel like she is making a situation where we get alienated by the rest of our class." Leon frowns.
"Is that so? What is she thinking? That we will treat her as our only ally after we get isolated?"
Leon shrugged his shoulders again.
"I can't read her mind so we can only guess. Still, she is too tacky. Why does she look at us like she gave birth to us?"
"Yuck. Don't remind me. She keeps rubbing my hair, am I her dog? She thinks she is cute. I want to smack her in the face."
Lucas angrily sighs.
"Do you think Mom is awake? You think I'll disturb her if I call her?"
Leon asks sadly.
"Dad said we shouldn't wake her up and she is already fine but I'm still worried."
"It's because she likes leaving the house and coming home late! She is a married woman with kids now. She should stay at home more."
