Hello to anyone reading this message or if anyone is actually able to see this anyway, you'll at least find some humor in my very specific situation. Picture this with closed eyes, you're a depressive moody person who got an otome game from you're sibling, and you wake up in said game without knowing how or why you're there in the first place.

My name is Senterion Azalea Shinku, but lets be honest I hate the fact that it's my full name, i'd rather be called Sen or at least Rion for short. I'm staying- or, WAS staying at a friend's group-house since I had enough of my family, more specifically my old man and older sister.

This is my story, my already sh-t life is being traded for another sh-t life.

"Dude, you totally missed it," Sen's roommate, Alex, said while tossing a bag of chips at him. The sound of plastic smacking against skin was the only thing that woke Sen from his nap. He blinked groggily at the screen light of his hand console, the game still frozen in a suspended state of virtual reality. "You were so close to beating that level." She shrugged while leaving the room to head, Alex only staying since Riddle was one of her favorite characters in the game.

Sen sat up and lightly started rubbing his eyes before glancing at his phone screen, it was already 3 Am. He had been playing this for hours, trying to get the perfect ending on this dumb otome game that his twin sister had gifted him before he left the family household, "Twisted Wonderland." He hated the fact that he had been obsessed with it lately, but in general he was drawn to the rich storyline and complex characters. Little did he know, the game had other plans for him.

With a yawn, he saved his game and shut off his hand console. "Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow, maybe i'll try Malleus's route again if I get the chance." he murmured, stumbling over to his bed. As he lay down, the last thing he remembered was the feeling of the soft pillow against his cheek and the faint scent of cinnamon and hibiscus that lingered on the fabric from his special cigarette's ashes.

The next morning, Sen woke up to the sound of his phone buzzing on the nightstand. He reached for it, still groggy, and saw a notification from "Twisted Wonderland." It was a peculiar message, one that didn't usually appear after a gaming session. "Welcome to your new reality" being the text along with a smirking emoji. He felt his chest tighten as he slowly realized the game had somehow become more than just a game.

When he opened the app, he was no longer staring at the familiar screen with the game's title. Instead, he was standing in the very world he had been playing in, right in the middle of the game's previously saved story file. The dark yet vibrant colors of the night and intricate details of the background popped out at him, and he could feel the soft grass beneath his feet. The air was sweet and crisp to his lungs, and the distant sound of nature around him played a hauntingly beautiful melody.

It was almost torture as he woke up in his bed in a cold sweat, this time it was right after the last file at the hands of one of the dorm heads. It hasn't been too long since he started getting used to this world, his hand console and phone acting as a guide and helpful tool each loop since it never deleted his point credits, gift storage, personal belongings, or his bank amount. But unfortunately it didn't stop the painful deaths.

At first it wasn't as noticeable to Sen at first that a few of the characters had slowly changed during the game loops, but slowly it was noticeable that the specific characters who had changed most were the main male leads that he had tried routes for to try and see if winning the game will send him back to his own world.

At this point Sen had given up on trying to pursue any of the main male leads and didn't want to risk anything, he didn't expect to wake up in his bedroom back at his friend's house as if nothing happened. He eventually assumed it was a dream and went on with his time, though eventually he started playing the game on his hand console and tried it out again. He had basically repeated what he originally did when he first got and played the game, almost forgetting what he had experienced in what he assumed was a long lucid dream.

That night he felt like he was having Deja Vu when Alex had tossed a bag of chips to him before heading to bed, eventually Sen had finally went to bed with the game console on his chest feeling like his eyes were weighing down. Slumber felt almost heavy as he slowly drifted off to sleep in his comfy cigarette scented bed, little did he know what would be waiting when awakened to see familiar faces looking right at him.
