Chapter 29 / Sweet

Beams of sunlight wove itself through the curtains of the room, gleaming it with a hue of daffodil. Soobin opened one of the windows during his train of thoughts the prior night therefore, he was awoken by a cold brush of air against his cheek. He grabbed the spare pillow by the pillow he was currently using and placed it over his head with a groan. He went through the thoughts he had assorted the night before and began to reconsider.

" I'm in love with Yeonjun Hyung and yes, I may have been for a long time. " A tint of crepe began to reveal itself across his cheeks as he nuzzled onto the pillow he was presently embracing, possibly wishing for it to be Yeonjun in the near future.

" Sure, if he gets into a relationship with someone else and he's happy, I'll be happy for him as well " He thought some more as he pulled his face from the pillow.

" But I can't miss a chance for me to become the person who makes him truly happy " He ceased from hugging the pillow and gawked foolishly at it in order to sort his thoughts.

" What the hell do I do? Do I confess to him right away? " He arose to sat on his bed and directed his gaze onto the open window.

" Damn it, I said I'd tell Taehyun and Kai but I'm not so sure anymore " He pinched the bridge of his nose as he shut his eyes close, brows furrowed from all the frustration that met him because of a person he so suddenly fell hopelessly in love with.

" They'll definitely think I'm stealing Chaewon's man but if I think more of it, I don't care " He let out a smug chuckle as he pushed himself to get up from the bed. He then walked towards the window with the sole intention to close it but made a decision not to, upon perceiving the breathtaking view it held.

" What am I gonna do, Hyung? I'd ask you if it wasn't about you " He leaned against the frame of the window with folded arms whilst he closed his eyes to feel the cold breeze of the morning hit his face.

" Soobin! Are you gonna eat breakfast or rot in your bedroom all day?! " The unforeseen call of his mother interrupted a solacing moment he had with himself. He opened his eyes to squint it in disbelief.

" I'm gonna come down, don't worry! " He exclaimed back as he turned himself around towards the door.

He made his way down the stairs and to the kitchen, where both his parents stood by the counter, engaged in a conversation that was presumably regarding their work loads.

" Good morning, Bin, did you have a fun time with your friends yesterday? " His father spoke in a soothing voice that went along with the smile that he would put on constantly.

" Yeah, are you guys still gonna arrive late today? " Soobin responded as he grabbed a piece of the kimchi on the plate and ate it.

" Yeah, possibly even 9:30 " His mother stated, she took a sip of coffee from the mini cup that she held on her right hand afterwards.

" Yeah, so you can eat dinner outside or order some " His father added.

His mind went blank as he fixed a glance at the plate of rice for a brief moment before giving out a response that was of blues. " Okay "

His parents left shortly after he had finished his morning meal. He then made his way towards the bathroom in order to take a shower, whilst he hummed a tone from a song he was unfamiliar with. He held his phone and was scrolling through Instagram once more before he headed inside and had a recall about something.
