I know she thinks of me
When she looks on the moon
I know I think of her when we
Kissed back there at noon.

She tucked my hair and pulled me closer
And I collapsed beneath her touch
I can't let it go, wish I was wiser
But I don't want to miss this hot flush.

She was my sun
I was her moon
She made me look dumb
And I won't see her soon.

Because the clouds came.
And took away all the sunlight.
So there's nothing I can do but blame
My cloud who brought the night.
