Joey's POV
Up to my elbows in bubbles, I scrubbed the dishes as fast as I could. I worked part time at a restaurant, I washed the dishes in the basement. The night was warring thin, the customers starting to leave and the flow of dishes for me to clean was slowing. The ovens had been turned off and I could no longer hear the loud shouts of the chef, only the low mumbles of mundane conversations.

I looked up to the small dingy, green window. Even though it was heavily covered by an algae like substance, I could see the white circular form of the full moon. I peered at the clock on the wall. It was nearly one in the morning. Seeing the time, I suddenly felt incredibly sleepy. I wish I could just go home. Sleep in bed. Sleep until noon. The thought practically had me drooling.

Sighing I looked at the pile of dishes I had to clean. Once those were done, I'll call Seto and he can pick me up. I'll probably fall asleep in the limo ride home and Seto would carry me all the way to our room and set me down. He would kiss my forehead and fall asleep next to me. I could smell his scent, a masculine mix of expensive cologne and freshly ironed shirts.  I kept wishing for this to happen right now. I just wanted to a) Sleep and b) see Seto.

A tapping noise snapped me out of my robotic movements of scrubbing and out of my romantic thoughts about Seto. I jumped and slowly looked up to the tiny window. Shivering, I remembered all the horror films I had watched where there is a ghastly face in the window.

"Please don't let that be Jeff.." I murmured. I could just make out the outline of someone's face. I was ready to run for it when I looked closer. An angular face. Electric blue eyes. Well sculpted, it was like looking at a gorgeous marble statue. Brown hair. I must be sleeping on the job. I slap my face to see. Nope, I'm awake and stinging from my own slap.

Tap, tap tap, tap. I slowly jump onto the worktop so that only the glass separates me and Seto's face. I unlock the window and slide it open.

"Seto! Ya asshole! If we get caught, I'm gonna get fired!" I whispered harshly.

"That's not a nice way to greet your lover. You won't get fired. I'll put your boss in his place. I'm the head of Kaiba Corporation, he can't argue with me." I roll my eyes at this. "Aren't you going to thank me for coming all this way to see my pup?" He continues, cupping my cheek.  I lean into his strong hand. It feels so good on my flushed cheek. I always miss him. Whenever he isn't near, by my side, my heart is throbbing for him. I look back to the pile of dishes.

"Baby, I won't be long. Let me finish these dishes and then I can go home with you." I said, smiling at my boyfriend's face. He smiles back. He has a funny way of smiling so he always looks like he's smirking. I love it. I love everything about him, looks and personality, everything. He's my god, to put it another way. I could stare at him for years and years. I could listen to his voice forever. I wanted him to just cuddle me and whisper in my ear. It drives me crazy when he does that. But it's a good kind of crazy.

"Joey, there is something more important than dishes that I need to do to you." He says slowly. My eyes widen at this. Is he suggesting that we... here? I mean I knew Seto was a little dirty but I didn't know he was that desperate.

"Not now, baby. When we get home." I say, about to slide off the worktop. Seto rolls his eyes. Obviously I had got the wrong idea.

I hear him feeling and fumbling about up there. What the hell is he doing? I get back to the dishes and then turn to look back at the window. Seto is holding something through the window. I squint at it in the moonlight. I walk over.

It's a tiny blue box, coated in velvet. Seto slowly opens it to reveal what is inside.

My heart stops. I stare at the tiny object inside the box. It's sparkles at me, twinkling in the dim light. I breath heavily. All my vocabulary is gone, all my senses have departed. All I can do is stare at that thing in the box. It's the most beautiful piece of craftsmanship I have every seen, it is as if someone caught a star and carved it.

I look up to Seto. He is smiling. Proper smiling! He has a warm blur in his eyes, his cheeks are rosy, his lips are curved delicately in a smile. He looks truly happy. I don't smile back, I just look at him, gaping in shock.

"Will you marry me, Joey?" He asks simply. He sounds like he is about to cry in joy. I just look back up at him. Pulling one yellow washing up glove off, I slip on the silver ring. It has a tiny blue jewel of some type upon it. It looks as if it is producing its own light source. Seto drops the box and holds my hand, running his thumb over my new ring. We look into each other's eye, not speaking as words don't seem to exist anymore.

I finally gather myself. Grinning wildly, I cry out "Of course I'll marry you, Seto. You are the best person who has ever wandered into my life."

Pulling myself back up on to the work top, I position myself so I am nose to nose with Seto. We melt into a kiss, meeting through the window. It's an odd place to kiss but I don't care. Heart pounding like I was struck by lightning, I continue to kiss Seto deeply, showing him how much I love and treasure him, how much I want to cherish him and grow old with him.

"K-kaiba." I murmur. We break apart. I can see the rest of Seto's body in the moonlight. As always he's in a suit. He looks so handsome. I pull my other glove off. I can't wait, I'm going home now. I just want to cuddle and give my everything to Seto. I run off and appear in front of Seto by the front door.

"Your limo awaits, my dear." Said Seto, wrapping his arms around me. I hug tackle him. I feel myself crying loudly, coming up for air in splutters of laughter. This is the best day of my life. I keep crying and laughing as we settle down in the limo. I lie across the warm white leather seat and rest my head on Seto's lap, so I could stare up at his dazzling eyes. Every so often he would kiss me on my nose.

Once we got back to his mansion, the chauffeur opened the door on us making out heavily. I was sat on Seto's lap and kissing him deeply. Kaiba hand his hand behind my head to force me to keep kissing him, as if I would want to stop. He ran his hands down to my waist to above my waistband and pushes my shirt up a little so he can rub my skin. I was caressing the inside of his thighs gently.

The chauffeur cleared his throat, as if to show that he disliked our display of affection. We break apart, the string of saliva between us collapsing like a falling bridge. We both blush and get up to walk out. Before my feet can fully touch the ground, I am swept off my feet. Seto grips tightly around below my arms and under my knees. He starts to carry me up the steps to his mansion. He stops at the top of the steps to look off into the distance. All the bright lights of Domino city, all the rushing cars, the traffic jams. Somewhere a motorbike lets out a worn out cry, which sounds like a person crying while they have an incredibly sore throat.

Seto sets me down. I gently collect his hand and we both stare at the the night life of Domino city. He slowly turns to me and kisses me. I put my hands on his chest and feel his muscles beneath his suit.

"Joey."

"Seto."

"I love you."
