A black-haired girl who tied her hair in long low pigtails approaches the house of the famous rider, Shera -a rider with long blue hair with green eyes. This girl's name is Kiyoko, she journeyed with her slightly introverted friend to investigate the pits along with Ena and other friends they had made along the way.
As she arrived in front of the stables, she noticed Shera looked incredibly bored as she rested on Ratha, her Rathalos while carrying an egg she had never seen before. "Wow... Ra-ra? Why the long face."
Shera looked at her old friend. "I don't have anything else to do other than raise my children."
Whenever she says children, she always meant her monsties.
Kiyoko just stared at her with a blank expression, that instantly turned into excitement. "Say! I got a letter from Reverto! And we got invited into a festival in Lulucion!"
Shera instantly stood up with excitement upon hearing what her friend had said. Shera had always enjoyed festivals after all. "Really?!"
Kiyoko nodded her head. "Come on! Let's tell Navirou! I'm sure he would love to taste the donuts made in the festival!"
Three days later, it was sundown by the time they had arrived in Lulucion. The crowd was big as expected, and Kiyoko ran off somewhere.
Shera turned to her feline pawtner. "Hey Navirou?"
"Yes pawtner? Is there something you need?"
"If it's not too much to ask, what was your previous partner like?"
"My... Pawtner...?" Shera could sense there was sadness within him. "Oh, you mean Kanna?"
"Kanna...?" Shera looked curious. "So that was her name? It's pretty."
"Well, if it's Kana you want to know about, I can talk all the things about her." There was still sadness in that tone. Could it be they were in an argument? Or rather, something more had happened. "She really cared about her monsties, and always put them above her own health. She was a skilled Rider and showed a bunch of empathy towards all monsters. She also loved reading romance story books and often talked about bonds. She also rarely got upset or angry. Oh! She had a Rathalos too! He was also named Ratha!"
"Ratha huh?" Shera slightly chuckled. "You know, I'm starting to think the name "Ratha" is pretty common for Rathalos."
To be fair, there were at least three people, including herself, who had Rathalos named "Ratha".
"Hey! Can you please stop dragging me! I can walk on my own!" Came a familiar voice.
"Chilax Kyle, I don't know you as much, so just in case you won't hang out with me and Ra-ra in the festival, I gotta make sure you don't make a tactical retreat."
It appears that Kiyoko brought their hunter friend Kyle along. Actually, more of dragged him along quite literally. Shera could also see Tsukino quietly laughing on how funny and amusing it was.
"Oh! Hey Kyle! Tsukino! It sure has been a long while since we last talked to each other." Shera smiled. "How have you been?"
Shera was completely oblivious to even notice Kyle's slight blush, but he simply replied. "It was alright." He says, slightly scratching the back of his head, covering his read face.
"Anyhow! Navirou! How about we buy some donuts nearby?" Kiyoko asks with sparkling eyes. "They're limited, so you can only buy some today."
"Today?! Fureal?!" Navirou looked at his pawtner. "I'm going to buy some donuts! Be right back!"
