the lost woods (original story)

♡~chapter 1~♡

It all started one day when I got lost, I was walking through the forest like I usually do when I'm stressed. I usually only go 10 Mike's into the forest and turn back but today I got distracted and happened to wonder off my usual trail. And I have gotten lost, I had never gotten lost before but this part of the forest was magnificently beautiful. The light shining through the gaps is the lash green leafs and the grass a lush soft green with moss patches here and there. Mushrooms scattered all over with flowers adding colour all around, the leafs dancing in the wind it was like a fairy-tale. The moss grow on the the North side of the tree, and since I lived south I could figure out how to get home so it wouldn't hurt to continue. And that's exactly what I did, I contacted wondering North looking around and and enjoying the scene froming in front of me as I walked. When I had reached the end of the forest all I could see was a mountain; a very steep mountain.

I looked around wondering if i should turn back and go home or not. When all of a sudden, almost out of no-where, I saw an opening inside of the mountain I started walking towards it slowly wondering what it could be inside. I reached the entrance and could see that there was light a very faint light on the other side, it looked around 5 or so miles away I decided to go in and find out what was on the other side after all I had no rush in heading home. As I walked I wondered what could be on the other side, I just hoped it's worthwhile, as I reached the end of the tunnel the light blinded me slightly but once my eyes adjusted I saw this wonderful, breath taking cliff side that was covered in moss with ever hue of green you could imagine, ivy, mushrooms and flowers painted over the moss slightly adding depth into the magnetic scene, it truly looked like a fairy Grove. I looked down and what seemed like 5 or so feet down was a teal blue lush lake.

The water was clear and clean it looked beautiful. But the closer I looked the more I uncovered, I looked closer, deeper into the lake and I saw no fish; no life. Then my eyes caught something any they widened to my surprise there were bones at the bottom piles qnd piles of bones... a freezing cold shiver went up my spine. I looked back at the cliff walls and the closer I look the more I see, blood... dried up blood paints the cliff walls slightly. My heart was racing what had happened here? And was I even safe?..

I had suddenly turned around to leave, but the tunnel had disappeared. There was no way to leave the exit had vanished I had no way out, I was trapped, I stepped back in shock and slipped I was now falling down towards the lake. I was certain I was falling to my doom when suddenly,

SPLASH!!

My body hit the water with full force, it felt as if I was on fire my back ached as I sank to the bottom. I felt eyes staring at me as I opened my eyes i looked around holding my breath as hard as I could, I turned my head and my heart dropped, I was now laying on the floor of the lake, I blinked my eyes to see if see if was dreaming, I wasn't, as I opened my eyes again there it was: massive glowing eyes, staring straight at me.. my body shook I was terrified as I felt myself slowly pass out into deep slumber I thought, this was the end... wasn't it..

But it wasn't I had waken up, but I was no longer in the lake I had awoken on a beach that I didn't recognise, I sat up and looked around. Where was I now? How was I going to get home? I got up and decided to look around, I had continued to look around for what felt like forever. But was actually only 5 hours, and I wondered if anyone would look for me if anyone would notice my absents. J thought back to my family, would they be worried? Would they notice? They barely acknowledged me when I was around, So maybe not.

I wondered how long I would be trapped in this strange land unrecognisable to my eyes. I walked in what felt like circles every turn I took led me back to where I had awoken. Back where I started, it has now been 2 days since I had gotten trapped here and its present day. I'm surprised that I've been here this long I thought I would have found a way home by now but i hadn't, I'm still trapped, still stranded, still lost and yet I'm still alive. I had been drinking the clear blue water that splashes on the shore in front of me, which was surprisingly not salty. Which only proves that I'm in some strange world, I look over my shoulder to the left staring at the golden glitter like filled sand. For miles and miles I don't know how big this place is and I'm scared to venture off.

The undiscovered forest, unknown to me sits only 6 miles away behind me with fruit trees and Berrie blushes at the edge, which I have been eating of off. I finally stand up and make my way towards the forest, I'm tired of being trapped and sick to death of being bored. Today I'm exploring that thick forest I have nothing to lose anyways, as I step into the forest the trees are green filled and tall covered in ivy. With only slightly seeing the original brown trunk. I walk deeper in and its already a new world its unlike any forest I have ever been in. I hear the songs of birds, the patter of paws on the ground and the scurry of squirrels. Its so peaceful and beautiful. I wish I had come in here sooner as I wonder while looking around I see trees and trees of fruit and wild life. This seems like an undisturbed haven.

Wonderful life lives here and I feel at peace. I turn around to see bunnies, squirrels and deer following me. They seem surprisingly welcoming and peaceful so I bend down and pick up a few nuts and berries. I couch down and hold my hand out to my surprise the animals come over and take there treat.

"Your friendly little things aren't you" I say with glee and pure happiness that the animals aren't afraid of me

CRACK!

A branch snapped behind me, I turn I shock and see a figure run off.

"Hey! Wait!" I yell still surprised

Who or what was that with no other thought, I run after the figure hoping not to regret it later. I chased the figure for a good half hour, their still running I'm starting to wonder what They are. I'm starting to tire out and I debate whether to continue chasing them or to stop and go back. I can feel myself getting light headed, I've never been much of a runner. But I continued to run after the figure, there starting to slow down and run out of breath. The closer I got, the more I noticed the large broad figure running in front of me is one of a man. Finally he stopped and turned to me.

"Your just not going to quit, are you?" He suddenly said in a deep husky voice that put me off guard.

"No, I am not" I say clearly out of breath, I look up at him straight I the eyes.

He's tall, very tall now that I've got a good look at him he seems around 6ft something with dark black curly hair, deep blue eyes fixed on my emerald green ones. He was beautiful, for a man I'd never seen a man so pretty. I felt my head get light again he says something bit I can't understand him as my eyes close shut sad I pass out yet again.
