• CITY OF LONDON, LONDON •
No.6 Nervous Reck

nothing but the blaring of my alarm woke me up, i groaned and rubbed my sweaty forehead. i obviously didn't get the best sleep last night.

although my sleep was horrible, it wasn't a big deal to me. what was is that i almost kissed Billie, we got caught and i shoved her.

everything was just moving so fast and i panicked..i have to call her.

i reached across my bed for my phone and unlocked it, searching for Billies number. it was 12:09 so she should be up.

"hello?" she said, her voice making a small smile appear on my face.

"hi, i just wanted to call and say i'm so..sorry about last night." i sighed. "i-i panicked and he's my manger and-"

Billie laughed on the other line, which confused me. "Dalia it's okay, i completely understand." i felt nothing but relief when she said that.

for the remainder of the call, Billie and i made jokes about he how came out of nowhere.

"your manager is fucking terrifying." she chuckled. our laughing had died down but i could tell she wanted to say something.

"i could make it up to you, i don't know my way around london but...maybe you could show me?" i smiled at her cute but nervous request.

"of course i'll show you around london Billie." i said picking at a lose string on my shirt.

"okay, i'll see you at three?" she said, i could hear the smile in her voice.

"see you at three." i bit back my smile and hung up.

i nod my head to the blaring music bouncing off the walls of my suite as i get dressed. i'm in more than a good mood for me and Dalia's date today.

a knock on my door distracts me from brushing my hair and i make my way to it. a tiny old woman stood in the doorway when the door swung open.

"could you keep down the noise?" she asked kindly.

i apologized quickly and she nodded her head with a smile before walking away, i did so and turned the music down. not too low though.

i've been in a great mood since i've woke up, i guess one of Dalia's rays of sunshine passed onto me. a permanent smile sat on my face at the thought of getting intimate with her in the slightest.

it's like my hands can't forget where they sat on her waist, or how sickeningly close her face was to mine. the eye contact had my head spinning nonetheless.

after daydreaming about Dalia, i grabbed my keys and headed for the door. once i got the parking garage i said hello to Winston, the security guard.

before i could walk away i remembered i had to ask him a quick question.

"hey Winston."

"what's up?" he said popping the large bubble of his gum.

"what flowers should i get for Da-..this girl i met, i wanna impress her." i said, my heart sinking to my ass at almost slipping up.

"well since it's your first date, go with lilys. throw some orchids in there then top it off with some greenery." he smirked as he shared his date expertise with me.

i nodded my head making a mental note and thanked him before walking away.

i walk up to Dalias front door, the bouquet of flowers in hand as i nervously drag the other down my shirt.

i knock on her door, the confidence leaving my body as i did so. the door swung open and revealed a beautifully dressed Dalia.

she's wearing a long tight maxi dress with sleeves. the diamonds on her bracelet dance in the sunlight as she stands in all her beauty.

"you look adorable." i cooed, she rolled her eyes and ran hers down my body. once her eyes landed on the bouquet of flowers she smiled wide.

"Billie you didn't have too!" she squeaked as she grabbed them, she brung the bouquet to her nose and looked up at me with those mesmerizing eyes.

"yes i did." i said looking down into her eyes. she pushed her hair behind her ear and looked back at the flowers.

"i'm the one that messed up though." she giggled, i shook my head and rolled my eyes.

"come on, we wouldn't wanna be late." i said and walked to the car as she followed. when she got to her door i was right behind her to open it.

"thank you." she blushed and got in the car. i went around and got in, pulling out the driveway of the luxurious condo which she lived in.

"soo where are we headed?" she said looking happily around my car, i snickered and shook my head.

"can't tell you that sweetheart." i said going into the freeway.

she whined, "then what's the point in taking me on a date?"

"it's a surprise. that's why." i laughed. she threw herself back in the seat with her arms crossed and and a pout on her face like a toddler as i drove to out unspoken destination.

that destination was this art museum keina recommended in downtown london.

the phone rang twice before she could pick up, nervousness surging through my veins as stopped at a red light.

"hi Billie what's up?" Keina's voice rang through the car speakers.

"i'm taking your friend out on a date and i need help." i rushed out, silence before a chuckle could be heard on the other line.

"about damn time." she said, i could hear the smirk on her face. i roll my eyes and practically beg her for help.

"okay okay, take her to this nice museum. it's called the Smithsonian, she's always wanted to go there and won't ever shut up about it." she stated.

i nodded my head and plugged the name in on my gps. "anywhere i can take her for dinner?"

"an American restaurant somewhere around here, i recommend one on Carnaby."

after i thanked her i hung up, sighing in satisfaction as the weight of not knowing where to go lifted off of my shoulders. all thanks to her best friend.
