Today, I have Theatre 1st period. Seems pretty boring until you see the size of the auditorium. It was like those Opera houses.
"Alright, everybody, as you all know, we have a play that will be taking place in a few weeks," the teacher Ms.Ilres says, "as you all can remember, auditions are today, considering we don't have a lot of time."
Wait, what? Auditions are today?! I don't even know any of the lines, let alone the play we're doing. A girl comes around passing out samples of the posters for the play. So we are doing "Hamilton." Omg, I love that play, but I don't think I'll be able to act well.
"First row line up."
Shit, I'm in row three. What do I do? I'll try out for Peggy. Doesn't she like to disappear after a few scenes? It's been a while since I saw that old-ass play. Before I could do something else, I saw a girl look at me puzzled. I turned to face her, and she had that 'Are you good,' look on her face. This is what I get for acting wild.

She had long silky black hair that gave a glow as if she added gel to it 16 times. She was Asian, with dark brown eyes and fair clear skin. They weren't kidding when they said they had the best skin products or just great skin in general.
"Oh, I'm sorry for startling you," I apologize.
"It's fine. I was just a little concerned," she says, turning back around with a serious tone.
"So uh, I'm going for Peggy. What about you?"
"Eliza or Angelica."
"That's cool! You're shooting for the top, I see. I'm Eve, by the way. Eve Losu."
"I'm Chi Nguyen." No way...part of the great Nguyen Clan? Some of the world's greatest family of actors. And I'm sitting next to one.
"I don't think I ever heard of you on TV before," she adds.
"That's because I've never been," I reply.
She turns to me, "Who are your parents?"
"No one, my brother just works at this school, so I'm just here now, I guess."
"What an interesting uprising, but I'll tell you this bullying for not having as much money as someone else is very common so I would not openly share it with a stranger," she says without looking at me. Damn, she is right. These kids are crazy rich. Who knows what stuff they will have me doing?

"That was great, second row. You're up!"
"Thank you for that," I say, smiling to myself.
"For what?" She asks a little confused.
"For warning me," I smile at her.
She just shrugs, "I'm not willing to see another person get humiliated by slurping up someone's leftover from the ground."
Wait, what? They do that at this school. But all the articles I read told me how good the school is and...oh. All the articles are good. Why wouldn't they be? The whole school is run by money and power. They probably shoved a few bucks into the staff's throats.
"That's horrible," I mutter.

"Row three, you're up!" We all stand up and go line up. Everyone does what they need to do, but when Chi went up. It was just beautiful... she quite literally became a new person in bodying Eliza completely. Now I see what her family's magic is. In her second act for Angelica, she was stunning, too. If we had a way to give her both roles, we would have. And you could see it in Ms.Ilres's face too, she was impressed.
Before I knew it, I was on stage. Ok, Eve's acting is like lying for a good reason. Fake it till you make it right? Peggy was the youngest and most down to earth, at the same time Energetic and moody. Even though she wasn't onscreen for too long, you could see a lot about her from the way she talks and how her voice sounds.
I took a deep breath and went at it. After that, I quickly headed back to my seat, embarrassed.

"Hey," Chi says, looking at me, "you did great." I blush a little. It's an honor to be complimented by a Nguyen Clan.
"Thanks," I say with a smile.
"Alright, class, I will have my casting in 3 days," Ms.Ilres says, "class dismissed. Everyone starts packing up and leaving. As I did so, I overheard a kid talking, not so quiet.
"Don't worry, Mona, you'll get that part," the boy says, "it's not like that dog-loving bitch is gonna get it." WHAT THE FUCK? I look over a Chi, she heard...she did. I feel my blood boil, what makes him think he has the right - oh. That makes sense now. He is the president's son, Jason Smith. Average white fuck boy, no offense to my good and nice white boys. He gives off 'I'm racist and you can't do shit about it.' Even if Chi did do something to defend herself, Jason is ranked higher than her. And I most certainly can't do anything either cause I'm a broker and useless than a plumper here.
