Small Town Love

Hey y'all! This is my very first story so please bare with me! This is a short chapter just because I am still getting used to this and I want to know what y'all think before I move on! Thanks! Xoxo.

"Hey babe, it's Mom, I won't be home till tomorrow night. I have a meeting in the next town over. I'm so sorry it's on such a short notice Hun. Remember I put 200 dollars for emergencies in the cabinet. Don't do anything stupid, remember my trust. Love you baby. Call me and check in later. Bye!" I barley listened to my moms voicemail. Hell yes! I said to myself.

As soon as I got done eating after school I called my bestfriend Stacy, "Hey, what's up?" She said. "Hey, moms gonna be gone till Saturday night. Who's all having parties?" I replied. "Uh Tyler, Michael, and Tommy." She explained. "Okay, how about Tyler's? I can't stand the other boys." Stacy laughed, "Okay, we'll take my car, i'll be there in 10."

Shortly after I jumped in the shower. After my nice hot shower I was quietly walking into my room when I seem Stacy deep into a text message. "Hey bitch!!" I said a little loud to scare the bejesus out of her. "GOD DAMNIT! Kate don't scare me like that!" we both started laughing.

About an hour later we were done with our hair and makeup putting on our clothes. We both had on natural makeup. I was wearing my beautiful blonde hair silky straight and Stacy's dark brown was in loose soft curls. I had on a coral colored tank and white shorts with cute boots. Stacy had a pink crop top and jean shorts with flip flops.

Where we're from, it's weird wearing high heels and tight dresses to a party. We live in the south. We don't have house parties, we have barn parties and bonfires. "Hey wanna go to the Burger Shack and get some food before the party?" Stacy asked. "Hell yeah!" I replied laughing. We checked ourselves out in the mirror very satisfied, then we left.
