Alarm Sounds
"Ughh, Already?" Aphtur says with a groggy voice. "Alfie? Get up, I made you food." An older voice said from down below.

Aphtur Gravewood:
Goes to: Rose Garden High School
Age: 17 (June 15th)
Born in: RoseWood, CA
Currently: Tired, Moody and Hungry.

Aphtur gets out of bed and struggles to walk to her dresser. After a few minutes of searching and throwing clothes on the ground, she finds a pair of black jeans and a brown tank top. As she is about to leave her room, she sees a bra hanging on the door handle. "Right. Forgot that"

Minutes later she's walking down the stairs struggling to tie her hair up in a ponytail.
"Oh hey, was just about to call for you a second time." James mentioned while he's busy cleaning a pan in the sink.

James Gravewood
Works at: GBNR Cars
Age: 32 (January 8th)
Born in: RoseWood, CA
Currently: Running late for work.

Aphtur stays silent as she sits at the bar and sees a plate in front of her with toaster waffles, scrambled eggs and a cheap brand of bacon (?). James finishes up in the sink and dries off his hands. "So, take it that you're not too excited for the first day? I mean, you're a senior now! Almost out." He says in a cheerful tone.
Aphtur sighs. "I guess, but with Finnley in New York.." She stops.
"Now, you won't have any people to instantly run to. I get it, but you could make another friend? Or maybe, even a few? I mean, don't get me wrong sis but the only friend you have ever had was Finn, he was a nice kid but you have to expand yourself Alfie." James states. As much as she hates to admit it, he was right. All she has ever had since second grade was Finnley, but he moved to New York at the end of last semester, which means she was now alone. "I mean, it's the last year of high school like you said. I'm sure i'll survive a year without a friend." Aphtur stated confidently. James shrugged. He knew that she would eventually make a friend or two, but he also noted that if it was brought up that he knew for sure, ms moody would come out.
"Alright, well on my way to work I guess I can give you a ride to school." He mentioned as he grabbed his eyes from the counter and put them in his pocket.
"Okay. Let me just put this away really quickly." She put the plate in the sink and let water fall before turning it off again and walking away.

She grabbed her beat up converse and backpack ran out the door. James laughed a bit, locked the door and followed her.

The drive to school was silent, besides the radio.
Once they had gotten there, Aphtur made sure she had everything then waved James off.
"Great, here we go."
As she walked into the door and through the halls, she realized how loud but yet silent it seemed. Usually by this time, Finn would have found her and chatted her ear off, then went to the other side of her and started all over again. This time, this time was different. There wasn't a Finn. She looked around the hall, she saw the jocks, cheerleaders, weird band kids. All of them. She saw their smiles, heard their laughs. It made her sick. Aphtur quickly looked for the sign pointing to the office, and once she had found the way, put her head down and sped walked to the location.

"Oh!" An old lady called. Aphtur put her head up and smiled. It was the school nurse, Mrs Everlyn. Her and Aphtur had a somewhat close relationship, as for the past few years she had gotten hurt a few times in Volleyball and had to see the nurse. "Oh! Beth! Nice to see you. How's Riley?" Aphtur stated. "Oh, well you know. She's doing alright. We're thinking of renewing our vows on our anniversary." Beth started. "Where's Finnley? He's always with you, is he doing okay?" She then asked. Aphtur awkwardly laughed, "Oh, he moved to New York at the end of last semester." Beth then frowned a bit. "Oh my, well sorry to hear that dear. He lite up every room he was in, shame to hear he's not here this year. Well if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm here for you!" She encouraged.
Aphtur smiled and nodded. "Well, I'm off to the main office area, they unexpectedly changed my schedule over the summer and told me to come collect it on the first day, so I must go now. Nice catching up Beth." Aphtur started. "Oh you too dear! Good luck with classes this year." The kind woman said before turning back to her desk. Aphtur walked away and headed to the main office. She couldn't help overhear a conversation.
"Hey. I thought I told you to leave me alone? Look "mate", maybe the British in you is what is making you stupid, but if I tell you to get away, you get away. Ya hear me?" One said. "W..why yes.. But I didn't mean to bump into you! I'm sorry.. I'm new here too, you know.. Um.. b..but in the future I promise I'll look ahead of me.. "
The second one said, almost scared like. "Cool. That's what I had hoped for, weirdo." The first one stated bitterly before walking away. The blond sighed and watched him walk away. He looked embarrassed, and that was probably the best way of putting it. Aphtur sighed, she didn't want to talk to people, but she also wasn't the type of person to leave someone terribly upset. She walked over to the boy and introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Aphtur, are you new here?" She stated, putting her hand out. The blond stood there for a second. "Uh, hello?" Aphtur spoke out, confused. "Ah, right, right, I'm sorry." The blond stated. He cleared his throat and smiled. "I'm Caspian. Uh.. Caspian Evans. I just recently moved here from a town in England." he spoke." "Well that explains the accent." Aphtur blurted out. "I of course don't mean that in a bad way, I've just always been in RoseWood, so I've just gotten used to the way people talk here." Aphtur quickly adding. Caspian giggled a bit. "No worries, I understand, everyone here sounds a bit off from what I'm used to as well!" He said. "Right, uh I overheard the conversation with the other dude, what's his deal?" Aphtur asked bluntly. "Oh, him. Well uh, I don't know him, but he's also a student who moved here recently from a different country. Pretty sure he's either Scottish or Irish from the way he talks, but I accidentally bumped into him when I got here around 15 minutes ago, I wasn't watching where I was going and walked straight into him like an idiot. He had an energy drink of some sort and it spilt some on him. He told me off at the time too and I just ran off." Caspian explained.
"Huh, well don't worry, we probably won't see him around. This is a huge campus. I used to have this other friend and last year we had none of the same classes. I only saw him at lunch, not even at passing." Aphtur said. "Wow, well I do hope you and I have classes together." Caspian stated shyly.
"Yea, OH SHOOT! That reminds me, I was on my way to the office to get my schedule." Aphtur remembered. "What? But didn't everyone get them in the mail over summer?" He asked confused. "Well yea, but they changed mine last minute. I don't know why but it's no big deal. Same classes just different block periods." She said. "Oh, well alright then! I'll see you around hopefully." He replied before giving her a smile and walking away. "Yeah, maybe." She then mumbled to herself.
