Selenes POV
"You better be fucking dying." Zarina mumbles against the pillow. I can see her red satin bonnet peaking through the covers.
"Worse, Jordyn just asked me on a date and I said yes!" I say anxiously.
She pops up clearly awake. "That is serious. What are you going to wear?" She asks.
"That's the problem. I don't know. She just said to dress nice."
"What the fuck does that mean?" I shrug and she rolls her eyes huffing going to her closet. I sit on her bed biting my lip. "Here." She hands me a black dress that clearly will stick to my body showing every curve.
"You'll think I'll look good?" I ask nervously.
"Good? Bitch she'll probably try to jump you as soon as she sees you. It's elegant but sexy just like you. Now take it, I'm going back to sleep." She says kissing my forehead and laying back in her bed.
"Thanks Rina. See you later tonight."
"No!" I stop from walking out looking at her confused. "I should see you tomorrow morning looking like you just got the best fuck of your life. If I see you tonight then we'll have a problem." She says eyeing me knowingly. I nod and she sends a wink and lays back down.
I walk out and take a breath knowing what she meant. You're getting laid tonight. No I'm going to have a good time without thinking about sex. But what if she wants to have sex? I'm not opposed to the idea. Then you're getting laid. I roll my eyes at my inner thoughts and look at the time on my phone. 5:05 pm. Shit.
I go back to my room and start getting ready. I put on light makeup since I don't really need it nor like it. I put mascara on to heighten my lashes and clear lipgloss that make my lips pop. I slip on the dress and it's a singular thin strapped dress with a slit that goes all the way up to my left hip showing my whole left leg. I put on my black heels that give me a 3 inch vertical so I won't be as short. Lastly I do my hair and I curl it and let it lay in a side part. I put my contacts in when it hits 5:58.
Jordyn ☺️: I just pulled in I'm coming up.
I read her message and the nervous butterflies creep up. God what if I over did it? What if she was serious about wearing sweats? Damn it! Knock knock. Too late now. I walk to the door and take a deep breath then open the door to see a handsome Jordyn.
"Hi." She breathes out taking me in. Her gaze makes me nervous so I try to shy away but she grabs my hand. "You look ravishing, Selene." She says with a sparkle in her eyes.
I gain consciousness. "You look so handsome Jordyn." She's wearing a red button up with the sleeves rolled up to her elbow and black dress pants with black dress shoes. Her hands are full of black and silver rings and her hair looks like it has hair gel to shape it more curly. She blushes at my choice of words. "Oh is it ok if I call you handsome? It's not too masculine is it?" I ask nervous that I offended her.
"Oh it's the best compliment someone can give me aside from smelling good of course." She says still smiling. "Are you ready?" She asks. I nod smiling and she takes my hand and I close the door behind us.
We get downstairs and I don't see her usual Camaro but a white Escalade truck. "Is this yours?" I ask impressed but curious how she has so much money as a high school gym coach.
She laughs and shakes her head while opening the door for me. "No it's my best friends. He let me use it so it'll be easier for you to get in and more room. My Camaro is tight I didn't want you uncomfortable." She says. I grab her hand to stop her playing with her rings.
"Thank you. It's perfect." I say reassuring her nerves because she's seems nervous. She smiles and closes the door after tucking my dress in. She gets in the drivers side and smiles at me before starting it and driving off. "So," I get her attention as we stop at a red light. "Are you going to tell me where we're going now?" I ask smirking at her.
