Johnny rubbed his face in his hands. "Sorry."

"No." Ky didn't want to hear it.

Gat turned to face her. "I am."

Ky's leg was shaking as she sat there. She cycled through and was so far from a polite way to say anything. "You couldn't possibly be. You know why. Half the shit trouble we got into was because of you. I never once stopped you. It was easy because we hid Aisha away. Now you led them here. You better hope like hell that they never saw either of us come here last night."

Gat thought about it. She was right. Impulse, he acted on impulse and he brought it to the door. The one thing he had been striving for even when he was locked up. Troy admitted he knew nothing, but the sign was obvious for all and any to see. "Fuck." He sighed out.

"Exactly."

Gat got up, coming to squat before Kyouki. His knee popped, Ky winced for him. Kneeling with his hands resting on her knees looked her in the eyes.

"I'm sorry."

Ky sighed. "Johnny, I care too much about the both of you. Aisha has to move. You can stay here." Kyouki closed her eyes for a minute. She was already planning, but most importantly, Shogo cannot find out her connection to Johnny.

Gat had to agree. Then sudden images of her last night popped in. 'Not now!' Moving a stand of her hair out of her face, traced a finger from her jaw to her chin, tilting her head up. "Will you sing for me?"

Kyouki's eyes opened slowly. "Dane was with a business associate's daughter. He sent her home and came to see me at the trailer before I hurried here."

Gat pursed his lips, his turn to feel hot. With a nod, he backed up. Dane was once more off the hook. Kyouki called over her shoulder to Pierce, who was eavesdropping from the kitchen.

"Hey, yeah... You know how to launder money, right?" Pierce came out like nothing happened, with the subject of money laundering.

Ky shook her head. "Not really. Call the others, we're divvying up the money and getting rid of it starting today."

Cars raced through the streets, bags of money shorted and items bought and sold again then dumped back at HQ without so much as a Ronin in sight. That was one half of the crew. No trace. It was a simple buy and dash.

But no, nothing is ever that simple now is it? Over the past two days, Johnny now had cars on his ass. The Ronin had followed him out when he was away from the house. As he went to make his purchase, at Foreign Power the whole place was suddenly lit up like the fourth of July.

"Ky, they are after me!" Johnny cackled. Gunfire followed, that Kyouki could hear, she was already in motion and on her way following that madman she called a friend.

"I got eyes on you, Oshiri!" Kyouki was in the Bulldog she acquired and had its weight fitted for just such an occasion. Driving the opposite way when she saw Johnny in his chase, plowed through yellow cars. While in the middle of running the Ronin off the road, roaring and pushing the lightweight cars around, watching them crumple like beer cans, Ky got a call. "What!" She had no time to look at who was calling.

"Cuz why didn't you let me know?" Bobby asked.

"You have a big mouth. I'll be there later. Let me handle this light work."

When she made sure Johnny was safe and watched as he sped off, she U-Turned and headed to her aunt's temporary home. Bobby stood outside, waiting. She dropped a few bags at his feet that had been changed out.
