Their once was three dragons. Who lived in a cave on a hill, somewhere in south east Russia. Every night the two fire dragons would go to the nearby colony of the Locsman. They would go their every week and fill their bellies with humans. The other dragon that was the smallest and the fastest stayed at home while they did this. He never ate humans, but he loved the taste of meat. To fill this urge, he would go out every night and eat one animal, just enough to keep him healthy and strong.
One night, after being teased by the big dragons for not being able to breathe fire, the small dragon went out. He had a routine of going to a blessed hot spring and drinking, eating whatever he could find, drinking again, and then going back to the cave. He only went at night because his cave mates made it so that any human that saw him thought he was going to kill them.
One night after drinking, the small dragon smelled flesh. He thought it was a buck so he straightened up and got ready to attack. Instead of seeing the brown hair of a buck he saw the harsh glow of burning torches. He was ready to go to his cave empty stomached when he saw a girl run in front of the crowd. She was beautiful and persuasive, he knew this because a few moments after hollering, the huge mob turned around and smothered their torches. He purred at the girl and she walked up to him and petted him. Then a man (probably her father) hollered her name, Vanessa, she ran to the man and walked away.
The dragon couldn't tell his cave mates knowing they would disapprove of his love for the girl and probably kill her. A few days later after being teased again, he ran away to the hot springs. Then he saw a movement. Thinking it was a buck he straightened up. This time instead of seeing the skin of a buck, he saw the glow of the girl's hair. He was happy...until he saw a group of robbers running after her. She was trapped between the water and the robbers.
He, trying to show gratitude, took a huge breath in and blew out. At first it looked like nothing was coming out. But after a few moments you could see the white spheres coming out of his mouth. A few moments later you saw thicker ice crystals flow and make an ice bride across the water. The girl having nowhere else to go ran across the bridge and jumped on the small dragon.
He took off into the air and flew her to the gates of the Locsman colony. Before getting off she petted him and kissed him on the head. He was full of love. he knew that if anything happened to this fine creature he would personally beat the crap out of the thing that did it, human or not, but he knew what creature it would be.
Swiftly flew off towards his cave filled with love and courage. He then challenged the two bigger dragons. After a while he killed the smaller of the two then he moved around the other dragon. The fire dragon blew a huge fire ball that attracted some of the Locsman people. The ice dragon was almost to the point of no return, about to give up when he saw the beautiful girl blow a kiss to him.
His courage and strength suddenly refilled and he gave a blow to the face of the dragon that could shatter a 4 foot piece of concrete into pieces. He blew softly and a heart made of cold ice crystals came out and hit the girl. He walked slowly to her and fell. She ran to him and gave him a kiss. He lifted his head. The girl took a vial out of her pocket and dumped the contents into his mouth. He swallowed. He got up. What she had given him was the water of the blessed spring. She got on him and they rode away never to be seen again.
No one has ever seen a dragon again. The girl could not love a dragon and got married to a man. The dragon was happy that she was happy, but to make sure no one hurt her he found and killed every dragon in the world. Then after making her safe he slowly died of a broken heart. But before doing this he blew a breath so big it slowly froze the earth every winter. He did this so the girl would know he was thinking off her....always.
