"Bye mum, I love you". I said trying to stop the tears from falling down my dark brown eyes.

"I love you too baby... And call sometimes... I'll miss you!". My redhead mum responded me with a shaky voice.

"I'll miss you too mum". I waved at her while I made my way through gate 03 of Milan's airport.

I still couldn't believe I was actually doing it. I was going to join my best friend on tour.

Oh right, who's my best friend? Louis Tomlinson.

And now you're probably wondering how I know him... Let me explain:

8 years ago my family and I moved to England as my father got transferred to Doncaster's University for work. I met Louis in school, he was the first to talk to the "weird Italian girl" and we've been best friends since. Through thick and thins, break ups, family crisis, personal crisis, his X-Factor, everything. If I should trust someone with my life it would be him and only him, probably because I feel most of the times he knows me better than I know my own self and that's just something you need in life. Someone who forces you to face the truth even when you don't want to, someone that knows what you think before you even think it.

So, anyway, there I was flying to London starting this new adventure. I slept through most of the flight so I was soon exiting the exit gates with my 2 gigantic suitcases. I saw a brunette girl holding up a piece of paper with my name written on it. Hair hair was coming out of a black beret, perfectly matching the color of her trench and shoes. Even with her sun glasses on I could've recognised Eleanor anywhere. She ran towards we and hugged me so tight I thought I was going to pass out. I missed her her, her floral perfume, her smooth wavy hair, her candid voice...

" Are you girls finished yet? I missed her too ya' know...!!!" we heard a voice say right next to us.

"Louissssss!!!!! Come here you jealous Peter Pan." Hugging Louis was the best feeling in the world: I mean when I am with him I feel safe and comfortable and understood. I guess it was the closest feeling to Home I've ever felt.

"Ok now it's my turn!" said a deep voice from behind me. That voice was unforgettable. I slowly turned around. My heart started to beat faster and faster looking into his emerald eyes. He swung his hair on the right and in that moment I felt like everything stopped for a second. Suddenly the only thing i could see was him. I smiled at Harry's sight. He smiled back, showing off his cute dimples and hugged me. I put my arms around him and as I sunk deep in that embrace I placed my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat for a few seconds. How I wished that someday it would beat for me.

I think you can call what happened to me, love at first sight: It was during summer, it was the 14th of August 2010, One Direction was on X-Factor and Louis called me I had to meet the other members of the band. The day I finally met them was the same day Harry stole my heart. There was something in his eyes that caught my attention, something in his gaze. I can't explain it, but I guess that's the heard part of feelings: describing them. He looked innocent, confident yet pure, joyous yet lonely. His smile set my heart on fire and, damn, spending time with him made me forget everything else in the world.

"Harry are you going to keep Artemis all for yourself?" Zayn's voice interrupted my thoughts. I hugged Zayn, Liam and Niall and we started making our way out of the airport. Even though they all came "in disguise", some fans had already recognised them and posted on social media 1D was at the airport. Luckily Paul was there to help us make our way to the car. Shortly after we finally arrived to our destination: the band's apartment.

We got off the car and Paul, Louis and Harry helped me carry my suitcases to my room.

"Thanks!" I said as they were leaving the room. "Harry... Can you stay here for a sec? I need to talk to you" I didn't have nothing to say to him but I just didn't want him to leave yet.
