Referee: The battle between Gym Leader Brawly and the challenger Izuku Midoriya will now begin. Each side will use two Pokémon and the battle will be over when both Pokémon on either side are unable to continue. Furthermore, only the challenger is allowed to substitute Pokémon. Battle begins!

Rotom Phone: Machop, the Superpower Pokémon. A Fighting Type. Machop have muscles that never tire, no matter how much they exercise. Machop have enough strength to throw 100 average-sized adults.

Izuku nodded.
Izuku: Alright! Meiyo! Let's go beyond!
Izuku sends out his Sewaddle.
Meiyo: Finally! Time for a battle!
Brawly: Machop! Use Karate Chop!
Machop rushed in, ready to attack.
Izuku: Dodge it and use bug bite!
Meiyo barely managed to avoid the Karate Chop and rushed in to bite him. And he succeeded. But it didn't do much.
Max: Izuku! Bug type moves aren't very effective on fighting types!
Brawly: Now Machop! Karate Chop again!
Machop brought his hand up and gave Meiyo a Karate Chop to the face. Making him cry out in pain.
Izuku: Meiyo!
Meiyo: Yow! That was one tough karate chop.
Brawly: Now Machop, use Cross Chop!
Machop crossed his arms and was ready to strike.
Izuku: Use String Shot to dodge!
Meiyo spat out a web at the ceiling and dodged just in time by shooting up the roof.
Izuku: Now use Air Slash!
Bonnie: Sewaddle knows Air Slash?!
Max: It's an egg move. Something Sewaddle can only learn with help from their parents. And they know it at birth.
Ricky: His name is Meiyo. It's Japanese for Honor.
