"Oh, she's a right looker, isn't she?" Ringo sighed. He was at a juice bar in Pepperland, at the moment, staring at... her...

Ringo and the other 3 Beatles, John, Paul, and George, were all staying there for the time being. Liverpool and the rest of the world could handle their absence for a few months, right?

"Who are you talking about?" Paul smirked, his perfect hair shining in the lights of the glowing fireflies that served as lamps in the land of Pepperland.

"Oh, uh, n-nothin'," Ringo stuttered, "just, ah, waiting for Jeremy..."

"Jeremy is right next to you," John smirked, coming up to Paul from behind. Paul's eyes widened a little in surprise, but he soon grinned at the sight of his good friend.

"Oh!" Ringo blushed as he turned to see Jeremy Hillary Boob PhD sitting right next to him, furiously typing something on a typewriter. "Pedic.. medic..." he was muttering under his breath.

Jeremy looked up to see the 3 musicians staring awkwardly at him, "oh! I was just writing my 30th novel-"

"Another book, Jeremy?" George grinned as he walked up to the group, "honestly, you've written several in just the short time we've been here!"

"Well, the mind is always thirsting for more!" Jeremy continued, typing away.

"Anyway, Ringo has a crush on someone, I believe," Paul smirked, leaning against John, who smirked as well.

"Oy!" Ringo exclaimed, "I don't!"

"Ay, well there are many pretty girls here..." George scratched his beard, looking around, "what do you think, Jeremy?"

"Love is a natural feeling that most humans experience," Jeremy said, "the feelings stim from the mind, and-"

"I don't have a crush on anyone!" Ringo yelped, still blushing furiously, "I just-"

"Oh, alright, alright, we get it," Paul said, waving his arms, "I'm desperate for a wee."

"I'll come along, I need to go too," John said, "anyone else coming along?"

"I'll go," George said calmly, "better now than during a performance."

"I'll stay here," Ringo said awkwardly.

"So will I," Jeremy said as well, "now, the three of you go empty your bladders through your-"

"Okayokayokay we get it Jeremy!!" John threw his hands up in exasperation, "just- continue doing your... er... thing." The three men then proceeded to walk away, leaving Ringo and Jeremy alone together.

"So," Ringo said awkwardly after a moment of silence, "what's your new book about-"

"It's about the history of Old English!" Jeremy told the drummer, "it explains all of the fascinating aspects of it's complex-"

"Ringo?"

The drummer looked up, his eyes locking with Barbara Bach. She was a native of Pepperland, but she looked as though she was from America or Liverpool or somewhere above the sea. She was beautiful, with her blonde hair and sweet face, not to mention nature.

"Uhm, hello Barbara," Ringo blushed, "what- I mean-  how-"

"I just wanted to thank you," Barbara said, moving closer to him, "for saving Pepperland. You're a talented musician, y'know."

"Uh, thanks!" Ringo grinned nervously, nervously scratching the back of his neck, "I- I- yeah!"

Barbara giggled, "well, see ya 'round." She then turned and left.

"Blimey, she's so beautiful..." Ringo sighed, leaning against one of his hands, "I think I'm in love..."

"Love is a natural thing," Jeremy piped up, "but I'd say your feelings of affection are on the quite intense side of the spectrum-"

"Oh Jeremy," Ringo sighed, "I think I want to marry her."

"Marriage is a natural thing that many do," Jeremy told him, "in fact, that's how I came to be- through the marriage of my father and mother. I remember one time-"

"Jeremy, I-I'm serious!" Ringo stuttered, "I want to marry her! I want to- I want to-"

"Well then, I suggest that you tell her," Jeremy replied logically, "it won't happen if you don't admit your affection to her."

"I-I don't know how!" Ringo blushed, flustered, "I- I just- I- what if she doesn't feel the same way?"

"Well, unrequited love is quite a sad thing," Jeremy told him, "but I believe Ringo, that the only way to know for sure on whether she returns your affections or not is if you, well, tell her of them."

"But how am I-"

"You must march up to her and say, "Miss Barbara, I must admit, I have acquired intense, ardent feelings for you. If you do not return these affections, then I shall never speak of it again. But if you do return them, then please tell me."

"Uhm, I'm not sure if I'm going to say it exactly like that, but- but I'll try," Ringo smiled weakly, "thanks Jeremy. This really means a lot to me."

"Well, it is only the natural instinct of the mind to help others in need," Jeremy replied.

"Okay, so, here I go, I guess..." Ringo stuttered, "wish me luck."

"You don't need luck," Jeremy smiled, "I'm sure that she returns your affections. Who wouldn't be fond of you?"

Ringo chuckled, "I suppose..."

"And even if she doesn't, then I will be there to help you recover from it," Jeremy said.

"Alright," Ringo said awkwardly, "so, off I go." He then awkwardly shuffled off into the crowd, searching for Barbara.

"Barbara!" he called out, "Barbara!"

"Ringo?" She came up to him, "what is it?"

"I- I just wanted to say..." Ringo stuttered, "that I... you see... ever since... ever since I saw you in that crowd when me and the lads... when we sang... and you weren't grey anymore... and, well, frozen... and I... I just want to say that... I think... I think I'm in love with you. Wait, no, I AM in love with you, Barbara. Like, a lot. It's- it's pretty intense. I just wanted to tell you that."

Silence followed. Ringo winced, looking down.

"Ringo..."

Ringo looked up, and immediately saw Barbara smiling at him. Her smile was soft and loving, and it gave Ringo a sense of hope.

"Yes, Barbara?" he asked her, his voice barely above a whisper, "what is it?"

"I love you too," she told him softly, and walked closer to him.

Ringo let out a shuddery sigh of relief. All of the built up pressure of his feelings were gone with those 4 words. She felt the same way.

"Really?" Ringo whispered.

Barbara cupped his face in his, "of course, Ringo. You're adorable. I've loved you from the moment I first laid eyes on you."

"Oh Barbara..."

Their lips met in a tender kiss. Ringo wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer.

"Mmmm..." he groaned in a loving and sweet way, "cor, you kiss so good..."

"Oh Ritchie..." Barbara whispered, gasping for air as their lips finally parted, "I love you..."

"I love you too," Ringo whispered back, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, "you're all I ever wanted..."

Barbara grinned shyly and kissed him again. Ringo instantly melted into the kiss, this time with passion. They just stood there, lost in their own moment.

Meanwhile, Jeremy had been watching the whole situation unfold, and couldn't help but smile.

"Well," he exclaimed to himself, "seems his affections were returned."
