Chapter 85 - Motherhood

Four months later :

The day starts with Lisa's yells. She was trying to feed her son Christine but instead of eating he is spreading it everywhere. "What's going on Li?" Elliot comes downstairs with Eleanor in his arms. He is now six months pregnant and he's glowing so much. "Look at him El, I was trying to feed him but he is just spreading the food everywhere! I'm so done with him." Lisa replies. Elliot puts his daughter down then walks towards her. Christine is already hiding behind the couch. "It's okay Li, he's just a kid know.. don't yell at him like this." Elliot says. Lisa sighs. "Come here Christine finish your food now." she calls. "Mumma won't hurt you baby, come here." Elliot also calls him but Christine doesn't come. "Come here my boy I'm sorry.." Lisa calls again.

Eleanor notices everything then walks towards Christine. "Come.. here.." she drags him by his hair and Christine starts crying. "Elle!! What are you doing?" Elliot shouts. Eleanor doesn't care, she brings her little brother then Lisa separates them gently. "What was that girl? He was your little brother right? Why did you do that?" Elliot asks. "She did right actually!" Lisa says. "Shut up Li! Elle, go and say sorry to him now." Elliot orders. "Sholly.." Eleanor cutely says then hugs Christine and kisses his cheeks. "You can't blame her Elliot, because her father used to do the same thing with Atharv in childhood." Maya says from behind. "What? Really?" Elliot asks.

Maya puts Siya down then sits on the couch. Elliot sits down next to her. "Yes, Marco used to do that a lot and poor Atharv was so scared of him those days." she replies. "So, Eleanor is just a mini version of Marco?" Elliot chuckles. "Yes unfortunately!" Maya laughs. Elliot sighs then stands up. "Well I'm going to take Roger back from his nursery school." he says. "Don't worry, I'm taking the guards with me." he laughs. "Make sure to inform Marco okay?" Lisa shouts. "Sure." Elliot says while going outside.

At the school:

Elliot reaches the nursery school before the time so now he needs to wait outside. He sits on a bench nearby and videocalls Marco.

Over the call :

Marco - "baby where are you?"
Elliot - "at school, waiting for Roger."
Marco - "oh baby I was sending David to pick him. You really need to take rest."
Elliot - "I'm fine trust me. I was getting bore at home that's why I came here."
Marco - (sighs) "fine, well I think I'll be late tonight, because there's lots of things I have to deal with."
Elliot - "it's okay babe but please do take care of yourself okay?"
Marco - "you too love."
Elliot - "I love you.."
Marco - "I love you in every universe."
Elliot - (blushes) "bye.."

The call ends :

"You are waiting for Roger right?" a sister asks. Elliot looks up. "Yes he's my son." he replies. "Oh! I'm his class teacher Rose." the sister introduces herself. Elliot shakes hands with her. "So how's my boy doing?" he asks. "He's great actually. A first learner I could say." Rose replies. Elliot feels so proud to hear that. Rose looks at him and notices his baby bump. "Oh! I didn't see it first but congratulations." she wishes. Elliot smiles. "Thanks sister." he says. Rose gives him a locket of the holy cross. "May God protects you and your baby." she prays. "Thanks a lot sister." Elliot happily takes that locket from her.

The bell rings and all the childrens comes out running. "Mumma!!" Roger shouts then runs towards him. Elliot picks him up in his arms and kisses his cheeks. "So, how's your day honey?" he asks. "It was fun, I solved two puzzles today." Roger replies happily. "That's great I'm so proud of you my boy." Elliot squeezes his cheeks. He says goodbye to sister Rose then gets in the car with Roger.
