Lies In Your Love
Theory of How I Write with Feelings

Chapter 03
The Beginning

It was a long journey of courtship before I finally answered him, allowing myself to call Miguel my boyfriend. As we opened up to each other about our dreams, I realized he had always been the rockstar of my heart.

His unwavering support gave me the courage to join the world of music and pursue the talent I had been hiding, afraid of what others might think.

But with Miguel as my coach and backbone, he became the muse of my poetry, the man behind every note and lyric. It is him—my boyfriend, Miguel—who transformed my life in ways I had never imagined.

“What about...Jo?” he whispered, suggesting a new callsign as he snuggled closer to me.

I asked, intrigued by this new term.

“It's like calling you ‘my love,’ ‘dearest,’ or ‘tinatangi.’ I heard my uncle and aunt call each other when I was a kid. I thought it was unique. What do you think?” His eyes sparkled with amusement as he waited for my response. Ah, this cute guy!

The term caught my attention, wrapping around my heart like a warm hug.

“I love you, Jo…” It caught me off guard.

“Jo, I love you. I love you so much—” I quickly covered Miguel’s mouth with my hand, my heart racing as I heard him use ‘Jo’ to say ‘I love you.’’

He gently removed my hand, smiling playfully. “Did you like it, Jo?” he asked, his eyes never leaving mine, teasing yet sincere.
