"One sec", i told austin, walking to the glass crib she was in. "Lemme just flip the camera real quick - look! isn't she adorable?", i gushed, making faces at clementine. "And they even named her after me! Which is crazy!", i laughed.
"She's so adorable", austin said through the screen. "How's beck?" "Oh, she's alright, she's asleep", i informed austin as he ran a hand through his dark hair.
"Oh, shit, erm, baby - baz is calling me right now - i have to take this", he told me. I frowned, but nodded in understanding. "Oh, ok then, bye!" "Bye honey!"
At that moment, becky sat down and glared at me. "Yeah, he's distant isn't he?" "What? I thought you were asleep" "I was, but i woke up - he's distant, isn't he?" "Oh no, i wouldn't say that", i denied.
"Stell, i've been in 7 relationships in my whole life; i know these things - and this sort of thing is something you really need to pay attention to"
"That's probably not true", i shook my head. "He's just busy - that's all", i finally told her. "Ok then, its your marriage - not mine", she gave up. "I shouldn't have said that to begin with"
But now her words kept ringing again and again. He's distant, isn't he?...is he? I don't know - today was the first day we talked in a week, which is a long time...and we only talked for 45 minutes - not about us, but about the baby.
And now, well, now i was starting to worry - like alot...
