Jen Mitchell, daughter of Grant Mitchell and Sharon Watts, returns to Walford since her grandmother's death with her twin brother and niece after her sister calls her in tears one night saying how the Mitchells hid the fact that the guy Courtney was interested in was apparently their secret brother.
With the intention of coming back to the place that was once home, Jen comes home to face the family on hiding this, not telling her sister, and breaking Courtney's trust in the process. However, her return sparks interest with a former teenage love of Peter Beale and also with former soldier, Lee Carter.
