Nutty x Sniffles: Rebel

Chapter 2

Sniffles was waiting at the school's gate. Nutty had messaged him earlier and told him to wait for him. "Nutty, you're going to be late." He said into the phone.

"I'm almost- Hey I see ya!" Nutty exclaimed, waving a short distance away.

Sniffles hung up and placed his phone in his pocket as Nutty came into view. Nutty had on a green and yellow hoodie, green, pink, and yellow jeans, black combat boots, and his hair was in his usual messy fashion with candy shaped barrettes.

"Mornin Sniffles!" Nutty greeted happily, walking up to him.

Sniffles smiled and waved his hand casually. "Good morning, Nutty." He replied.

Nutty and Sniffles walked to their homeroom class. It has been about a week since Nutty started attending school. It was fun, irritating, and adventurous for the school's nerd.

"Crap! I totally forgot! Sniffles, go ahead to class. I have to turn in a paper for my detention chaperone." Nutty explained.

Sniffles nodded and went to the opposite direction to their class. "Alright, see you in class." He said.

Sniffles was tapping his pencil against his desk nervously. Nutty hasn't shown up to class yet.

Just when Sniffles was about to go look for him, the door bursted open. Nutty walked in and placed his hands on his knees as he panted for breath.

"Sorry I'm late." Nutty said.

"Miss Nutty, please refrain from being late in the future." Mr. Lumpy said.

Nutty's eyebrow twitched. Sniffles was trying to hold back laughter. Nutty scowled. "Let me get this straight, I am NOT a girl!" He shouted.

Everyone in the room except Sniffles's jaws were dropped. "EHHH?!?!" The classmates asked.

Nutty huffed and stomped to his seat. He started angrily writing notes and passing them to Sniffles which he gladly accepted with a smile.

"Haha, you have to admit it was pretty funny." Sniffles said after class.

Nutty slammed his locker shut. "It is not! Seriously how stupid can people be?!" He asked angrily.

Sniffles rolled his eyes and pulled out a lollipop from within his pocket and passed it to Nutty. "Calm down Nutters." He teased.

Nutty blushed at the nickname but didn't say anything about it. "Th-Thanks.." He mumbled taking the lollipop and shoving it in his mouth.

Sniffles chuckled. "C'mon lets get to second period." He said.

Nutty groaned. "I'll be in detention again." He stated.

Sniffles tilted his head. "Why?" He asked.

"Cuz I'm not doin gym!" Nutty whined.

Sniffles laughed and ruffled Nutty's hair. "Alright, see you after class." He said.

Nutty nodded blushing. "O-Okay." He stuttered.

~After morning classes, at lunch. Nutty walked over to Sniffles. He was about to latch onto him when a girl with dark purple medium length hair, a black frilly dress, and black mary janes, was linked arms with Sniffles.

Nutty felt his heart tighten and tears stung his eyes. Sniffles looked back and saw him. "Hey Nutty, you okay?" He asked.

Nutty nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine." He stammered.

The girl looked at Nutty and glared. "So this is your friend Nutty?" She asked.

Sniffles looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, Nutty this is Ant. Ant this is Nutty." He introduced.

Ant narrowed her eyes. "Pleasure." She said icily.

Nutty flinched. "Y-Yeah. You too." He said.

Ant kissed Sniffles's cheek and looked at Nutty's hurt face with a smirk. "Bye bye Sniffy!" She said waving slightly.

Nutty bit his lip. "So, whose she?" He asked.

"Oh, she's my girlfriend. We have been dating for three months now." Sniffles said proudly.

Nutty lowered his head a little. "Oh, so how come I haven't met her until now?" He asked.

"Well, she had vacation with her family up until today." Sniffles answered.

Nutty nodded and turned away. "Well, I'm going to go." He mumbled.

Sniffles looked at him. "Wait Nut-" He was cut off when Nutty ran out of the cafeteria. "Nutty.." He whispered.

Nutty was inside the locker room crying. Baka! Stupid Sniffles! He started to cry harder.

Suddenly, the doors open. In walked Lifty and Shifty. "Oi, what are you doing in here pony boy?" Lifty asked.

Nutty gulped as they got closer. "Wh-What do you want?" He whimpered.

"You should just go die. No one likes a guy loving freak!" Shifty spat.

Nutty felt tears coming again. He gulped and rubbed his eyes free from tears. "Just leave me alone!" He yelled.

Lifty punched a locker right next to Nutty's face. "Listen here, pansy. This is our school, got that? You listen to us or you get hurt." He seethed.

Shifty and Lifty started punching and kicking the poor Nutty. Nutty was whimpering on the floor. They had left ten minutes before.

Nutty sighed and he got up. He walked out of the room and headed towards his locker. He saw Sniffles talking to Ant. He started to wave then he stopped at the sight of Nutty.

Nutty gave a weak smile before collapsing. "NUTTY!!" Sniffles yelled running to the unconscious sugar addict.

Nutty cracked open his eyes a little. "Huh? Where am I?" He asked sleepily.

"In the infirmary." Someone said beside him.

Nutty looked up and saw his best friend Sniffles. "S-Sniffles?" He asked unsure.

Sniffles smiled sadly. "Its me. What happened?" He asked.

Nutty bit his lip. "N-Nutting.." He mumbled.

Sniffles narrowed his eyes. "Don't lie to me. This is not nothing. You were bruised and bleeding all over." He said worriedly yet sternly.

Nutty sighed and averted his eyes. "I can't...I can't tell you.." He said quietly.

Sniffles sighed and hugged Nutty. "Well, if you want to tell me...I'll always listen." He murmured.

Nutty smiled weakly and hugged back. In the corner of his eye, he saw Ant standing by the door glaring. Nutty stuck out his tongue. Ant huffed and stomped out of the room.

Nutty chuckled. "Heheheh." He muttered.

"Whats so funny?" Sniffles asked.

"Nutting!" Nutty replied quickly with a blush.

Sniffles smiled and laughed. "You are so adorable!" He cooed teasingly.

Nutty puffed out his cheeks. "Am not!" He whined.

Sniffles grinned and gave Nutty a playful noogie.

Nutty blushed but started laughing along with him. And an angry Ant watching them from the side.
