I woke up the next morning feeling worse than ever. Heartbroken and hung-over, what could go wrong. I tried to stand up but immediately fell back down.

"I should not have drunk so much last night," I grabbed my gloves that I had thrown on the floor out of anger the previous night and the newspaper I was reading yesterday. I just sat in my bed until I thought I could stand back up. I glanced out the window. It looked like we were on the Belgium-France border.

"Huh, that's cool," I said, finally building up enough strength to get up.

Knock the door cracked open and a staff member emerged. "Hey, get up, it's 10:30, we need you in your seat,"

"How is it 10:30? I just got out of bed!" I glanced at my watch and sighed. "Okay, I'll get up," I mumbled.

I stumbled over to my seat. I sat next to this woman who seemed to be disgusted by my very presence

"Well, you look great," she said sarcastically, glaring at me. I glared back but ignored her mostly.

"Quite the show you put on last night," she said trying to get under my skin "I see why he ran away."

I kept ignoring her still reading the newspaper

"I didn't realize your face matched your additu-,"

I punched her in the jaw.

She scoffed, rubbing a hand over her bruised cheek. "Guess I was right,"

"IF ONE MORE WORD COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH THERE WILL BE A LOT MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM!"

She shut up.

I sat in my chair, pulling out the newspaper and started reading where I left off. My reading was interrupted by the driver

"BUCKLE YOUR SEAT BELT EVERYONE!" I snapped the buckle on my seat belt and continued reading.

I got bored after around 30 minutes of reading. I glanced out the window to see where we were.

"What the hell?" the track ended. "Why isn't the driver stopping?"

"Why would he stop," another woman next to me said, confused.

"T..the track its a dead end,"

"What?!" she said, now even more confused.

I rushed over to the emergency stop and yanked it so hard I felt like my hand had a bruise. The train screeched to a stop.

The entire train was staring at me.

"I can explain!" I blurted out.
