CHAPTER 24

~ Tzuyu's POV ~

I opened my eyes and stared out of the window for a while. I overslept... didn't I? It must already be around twelve or one in the afternoon. I sat up on the bed to find myself alone there. He's gone. Of course, he has so many more things to do than sleeping with me until it's late. I ignored the soreness of my body and got up from the bed as I walked into the washroom wanting to have a warm bath.

I needed a warm bath before starting my day but I needed to hurry because Ayaan must be already awake. With that thought, I had a warm bath and then changed into a dress. After that, I combed my hair and left the room. The first thing I did was to go to Ayaan's room but he wasn't in there which meant he had woken up and was with Jungkook.

Next, I went downstairs and looked for Jungkook but I couldn't find him. Instead, I found Alpha Lee Dong-Wook who was feeding Ayaan while standing in front of the peach tree. I stopped without walking towards them. I know that Alpha Lee Dong-Wook doesn't like me. He just doesn't approve of me to this family and he doesn't like the fact that I am with Jungkook at all.

I know that I was just a surrogate that he chose for his grandson. Knowing all those things, I just didn't want to ruin his mood by appearing in front of him. I clutched the skirt of my dress tightly and sighed as I lowered my head. Did... did I do a wrong thing by getting together with Jungkook? Marrying him and becoming his Luna? I don't know... Jungkook wanted all these things and I just agreed with him.

I looked at Alpha Lee Dong-Wook and Ayaan again before deciding to go in but at the same time, Alpha Lee Dong-Wook turned in my direction. Maybe, he must have felt my gaze on him. When he turned to me, Ayaan also saw me. His little face was decorated with a smile and he giggled looking at me. How adorable, how cute

"Mommy..." He raised his arms wanting me to come to him. I chewed the inside of my lip and hesitated to walk near Alpha Lee Dong-Wook knowing he would be so angry. His sharp red eyes were on me as he stared deep into me. Helplessly, I walked towards them because Ayaan was waiting for me. As I went to them, Alpha Lee Dong-Wook gave him to me because Ayaan wanted to come to my hands.

Ayaan's tiny arms hugged me immediately and he buried his face against my neck. Embracing him, I glanced at Alpha Lee Dong-Wook not knowing what to say. I feel terrible because I didn't listen to him. I just couldn't work according to the agreement we signed. He gave me money and assigned the best doctors for Haerin.

He gave his support to make Haerin healthy but I couldn't repay him. I just couldn't repay him by keeping my distance from Jungkook and my baby. He must be already hating me for that. I lowered my eyes once again because I had nothing to tell him. All I had in me was guilt and pain along with feelings of Shame.

"Was he the one who found you?" suddenly Alpha Lee Dong-Wook asked. Is he asking if was it Jungkook who found me? No one found anyone, it's just that we met again accidentally. I faced Alpha Lee Dong-Wook and parted my lips to speak.

"We met again. We didn't find each other, we just accidentally met again, Alpha." I answered him.

My answer made his eyebrows twitch. I know he's going to blame me. I know he's going to tell me that I should've walked away without making things complicated. But how can I do it when I see my son? I failed to control my emotions or myself. And I know that Jungkook used my emotions towards my son to get me back to him which I don't mind at all.

"I have nothing to tell you, Tzuyu. He said you are his mate which is out of my control. All I want is one thing, don't meddle with the things he does. If you heard me talking about his parents, don't let the same thing happen. It's all in your hands. If you ever find him trying to kill somebody, just walk away and let him do it. Don't try to stop him. I'm not saying anything about both of your family life. Since you are already his wife, you can be a perfect wife and a mother but don't put your attention to what he's doing outside. You have nothing to worry about because he's loyal and wearing the ring you put on him. He won't do something that could hurt your feelings, so just stay out of all his business. That's the only thing I want from you."
