As I drove, Hana turned to me with a curious expression. "Ayliz, what's going on? You seem lost in thought." I glanced at her briefly before focusing on the road again. "I was just thinking about what I saw in the office earlier," I said, my voice low. "Minhu was standing really close to Zayan, fixing his tie. Their faces were inches apart, and it seemed like... well, like they were in their own little world." I demonstrated with my hand, showing how close they were. "And Zayan's eyes were closed, his face tilted upwards, like he was savoring the moment. It was like they were sharing a secret, and I felt like an outsider looking in." I shook my head, trying to clear the image. "It just seemed so... intimate." Hana's eyes widened. "Ooh, Ayliz! seriously, "But you know, Minhu tried to flirt with me earlier, and I gave him a sharp answer, like a sword." She smiled smugly. "I'm not afraid of his charms." I chuckled, impressed by her confidence. "You're something else, Hana."
That's so... " she said, her voice full of disbelief. "I mean, Minhu has been friendly, but that's just..." Ayliz added, but he is zayan's boyfriend. Her eyes fixed on the road ahead, her mind trying to process the unexpected behavior.
I drove Hana to her apartment, dropping her off at the entrance. Then, I continued driving towards my own mansion, which was located nearby. As I arrived, I pulled into the driveway and handed the keys to the waiting driver. I got out of the car and entered my home, heading straight to my room, my mind still preoccupied with thoughts of Zayan and Minhu.
As I entered my room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I had been trying to shake off the feeling of discomfort since seeing Zayan and Minhu together in the office. I flopped down on my bed, staring at the ceiling as my mind raced with thoughts. But then I suddenly remembered I was still feeling grimy from the drive, and I got up to freshen up. I headed to the bathroom,
I came out of the bathroom, feeling fresh and clean after her warm bath. I had on a comfy T-shirt and soft pants, and my damp hair dripped slightly as I ran a towel through it. Then, I carefully wrapped a shawl around my head, preparing myself for Salah. Next, I took a prayer mat from the corner of my room and unfolded it, laying it out on the floor with precision. With a sense of calm and focus, I stood on the mat, taking a moment to collect my thoughts before beginning my prayers. As I stood there, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, and my earlier worries began to fade away. I offered my salah with a heavy heart. I raised my hand for dua , as I said "Allah", my eyes became teary , tears fell down on my cheeks.
"O Allah, you are the one who has shown me immense kindness and mercy. I am grateful for all that you have bestowed upon me. I will remain thankful to you for my entire life. You have helped me remember my past struggles and hardships, which I had faced with great difficulty. But, as you have said, 'after hardship comes ease.' Tears welled up in my eyes as I recalled the incidents of my childhood when I was harassed by a boy in the jungle, and Zayan had come to my rescue. Oh Allah, if you hadn't sent him to help me, what would have become of me?..."
"She thought to herself, 'How did Arwan save me from those bullies? I really like him, Allah. He was there for me when I needed him most, when I couldn't even speak up for myself, I couldn't tell him how much I like him. But now, I can speak up, and tell him about my feelings, yet he's not here. Allah, please bring him back to me. Please unite us by your grace. Has he forgotten me, Allah? Has someone else taken his heart? She sobbed uncontrollably, her tears falling like rain."
"O Allah, I can't bear this separation anymore. Please, Allah, show me the right path. Guide me towards the truth and reunite me with Arwan, if it is Your will. I trust in Your wisdom and mercy. Show me the way to overcome this hardship and bring us together again, if it is meant to be. Amen."
"I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the sadness that had been weighing me down. I folded my prayer mat, my hands moving slowly as I tried to compose herself. Then, I sat on her bed, holding the Quran in my arms like a precious treasure. As I read the familiar words, tears began to fall, streaming down my face like a river. But even in sorrow, I found solace . After a while, I closed the Quran, my eyes red and puffy from crying. I kept the top of the shelf.
"I took a deep breath, wiped my tears from the water so that no one would notice I had been crying."
I made my way downstairs, my footsteps echoing through the silent house.
"As I made my way downstairs, I was greeted by the warm glow of the TV and the soft murmur of my parents' voices. My mom was sitting on the couch, engrossed in her favorite show, while my dad was reclined in his favorite armchair, lost in the pages of a book. They both looked up as I entered the room, their faces etched with concern and love. My mom was the first to speak, her voice soft and inviting, 'Come sit with us, dear.' I smiled weakly and made my way over to the couch, feeling a sense of comfort and security wash over me as I settled in between them. They wrapped their arms around me, holding me close as they had when I was a child, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. After a few moments of silence, I began to speak, my voice barely above a whisper. 'I went to Zayan's office today,' I said, my eyes cast downward. 'I apologized and we're going to work together on a project.' My parents exchanged a look, their faces filled with surprise and delight. 'That's wonderful news!' my mom exclaimed, hugging me tight. 'We're so proud of you!' My dad added, his voice filled with warmth. I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude and love for my family. 'He even showed me some sketches,' I continued, my eyes lighting up with excitement. 'They're amazing, and he's going to come to our office tomorrow to discuss the project further.' My parents beamed with pride, happy to see me happy and successful."
Appa's eyes shone with conviction as he declared, 'I have every confidence that you two will create something truly special together.' I smiled, feeling a surge of determination, and replied, 'We won't let you down, appa.' And with that, I settled in beside my mom on the couch, ready to immerse ourselves in the latest drama unfolding on the TV screen."
"As I sat engrossed in the TV show, my phone's screen flickered to life, a notification alerting me to a new message. My heart skipped a beat as I read.
"I should have to say sorry, my sorry is on borrow, so we will meet tomorrow"
"Good night"
